Note that you cannot use the coupon on two items that total less than $2.50. The two items must exceed $2.50. But, here are some good candidates. All prices were gathered at the Huntley Jewel:

  • $1 – EE single Paper Towel roll
  • $1.09 – EE Scrub Sponge
  • $1.49 – EE 2-pack Erasers (like Magic Erasers)

Here are some ideas:

One EE scrub sponge ($1.09) and one EE 2-pack erasers, steel wool or big paper towel roll ($1.49) – total $2.58. After coupon, pay .08 for both!

One roll of EE paper towels ($1) and one EE 64-ounce bleach ($1.69) – total, $2.69. After coupon, just .19!

One roll of EE paper towels ($1) and one EE toilet bowl cleaner ($1.89) – total, $2.89. After coupon, just .39!

NOTE: This $2.50 coupon has NOT been scanning automatically at the register. Make sure it comes off your total, or have the cashier adjust it for you.

Now, make the deal even better. Buy FOUR. Use the $1.10-off-2 on the first two cups and two B1G1F coupons from the 3/10 SS on the second two. Pay .90 for FOUR cups, or about .23 each!

This week, the .29-.41oz. McCormick Recipe Inspirations cards with spices are also $1  – just .25 with coupon.

So, buy two All Free And Clear at $2.99 each
Use the $1.50 off store coupon, scanned twice (now $2.98)
Use the $2-off-2 manufacturer coupon from the 3/10 RP or two $1 Facebook printables (don’t need to be logged into Facebook to print)
Pay .98 for TWO All Free and Clear, or .49 per bottle!

Shelf tags note a sale end date of 4/28. After that, the All’s price jumps to $5.44.

Or, go for the bigger packs. 180-216ct. Pampers refill wipes are on sale for $5.99. Stack the $1 store coupon from the Allergy Relief Savings book with this .50 printable and pay $4.49. That’s like getting three tubs for about $1.50 each. (You’re better off buying the small tub if you’re looking for the absolute-cheapest way to go here…)

If the Go-Gurt Twisted varieties are included, use the .50 coupon from the 3/3 SS and pay $1.50!

The new Allergy Relief Savings coupon book has a store coupon for $5 off Zyrtec, limit 1. Use that on one box, and then use three $7 coupons from the 4/7 RP1 or $7 printables. Pay $13.98 for three boxes, or $4.66 each! SUPER price for this.

UPDATE: Last week, several shoppers noticed that the register was taking the $5 off one of the packages (dropping it to $14.99) and then also making that same, now-coupon-discounted package the FREE one — effectively negating the $5 coupon completely. Make sure that if this happens to you, your store adjusts it so the $5 coupon comes off one of the packages you are buying – not the free package.

  2. The All store Q DOES ring of two items now. I bought some today at one store and they knew to scan it twice, but it worked with just one scan, which I didn’t notice at a time. Then I went to another Jewel to get one more booklet to complete my deal for Saving Star. Asked the cashier to scan twice to make sure it works. She didn’t know anything about it and looked at me like I’m crazy. Read the Q over and over, called another lady over and the other one also says there’s NO WAY they could do anything like that. I explained the situation, how all the stores were told about it. They said they weren’t told anything. I said that the other store did it, she said “then go there”. So I said just scan it and see what happens, she did and, sure enough, it took 2 $1.50 amounts off with just one scan. I showed her and said they must have fixed it by now then. Anyway, after this long story that’s my point- it needs to be scanned only once now and it works correctly.

  5. Hi- I noticed that the Post Grape Nuts are also on sale for $1.88, and there was a coupon last month in the Chicago Tribune for $1 off Grape Nuts Fit. Does anybody know if that is included in the deal, and if most people even got the coupon? I am not sure if I got it. I think it came out on 3/17. Thanks, Nancy

  7. My sister was just at the West Chicago Jewel and said the Caribou Coffee sale doesn’t end until 4/21! So, use the $2 coupon from the 3/3 SS and pay $3.99.

    Also, she said that West Chicago has -plenty- of the Allergy coupon books on the pharmacy counter, for those of you that have been looking :)

  8. If you look on one of the inside pages of the ad, there’s a coupon for $3 off 3 items. It first appears to be Frito Variety packs, but it also includes the Quaker Granola Bars ($2 each). It states “Mix or Match”. Buy 3 boxes, use the coupon and get them for $1 each. Not a steal, but a good price if you buy those.

  9. OK, is anyone else having trouble loading ecoupons from the Jewel site? I have tried on 2 different computers, at different times of the day. I really HATE their website. You have to scroll down too much, and it won’t sort out the ecoupons (which is all I want…not the printables usually). I click and click on send to card and I get nothing.

    I am not a dominick’s fan, but I must admit their website is SOOO much better.

    Any tips?

  10. One of Jewel’s coupons sent to your email this week was $1.00 off (one) 16oz. Essential Everyday potato salad, coleslaw, or macaroni salad. My Jewel had the salads on sale for $1.50 minus $1 Q = $.50 containers!
