The Oswego stores and Lake St Aurora are not taking these coupons without a HUGE scene and call to corporate. They are accusing customers of counterfeiting the facebook printables.
FYI

Thank you SO much! My paper did not have the coupons, and neither did 2 of the stores I visited on Monday. Perfect that these cereal coupons are out, because I’ve been slacking on my stockpiling lately, and my husband just remarked that he can’t believe we are actually running low on cereal! lol

Just got home from the Jefferson Street Jewel in Joliet. Had 5 coupons to double and the service desk lady told the cashier absolutely NO WAY, do not take those, they could be counterfeit. I’ve never been so embarrased-I’m just your average mom trying to save some money and instead felt like a criminal. I went to the service desk and asked how these coupons could be fake if they are on Jewel’s facebook page, and she had no answer and didn’t really look like she cared to find an answer.Jewel really messed up big on this.
GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

Am I missing something with these coupons? From what I read on the ones I printed, it’s $1 off TWO, so with five of each coupon, you’d have to buy 10 boxes for $20 and then get $10 off, so you’d be paying $10; not free.

I was only able to get 3 coupons to print, how did you get 5? I followed the link and the FB page link

Worked fine for me at the Jewel in Shorewood. No problems, even though they were out of the Peanut Butter Cheerios they allowed me to use my cpn for it on Frosted Crunch instead. Free cereal!

I feel sorry for those of you that have Jewel stores that are being so difficult. I’m so glad that for the most part – any store we’ve shopped in has been good. Granted, the store we frequent the most (Huntley) often has prices wrong, or a deal (like the buy 10 save $5) that doesn’t come off at the end of the transaction as it should. The worst that happened was with a woman at the service desk at the Huntley store. I shopped with my mother and when we asked for coupons, she gave us 1 sheet. When I said I needed one too, she told us transactions could not be split up. Ummm, hello — we’re not siamese twins — we are two individual people and I’m pretty certain the coupon said “per customer”, not “per shopping party”. When we went back the next day for our new coupon sheet, it was the same woman and again we had to specifically each ask for a sheet and this time she eyed our 1 shopping cart and said “You have to shop separately”. WTF. Again – we are 2 people. Why the hassle? Anywho…. this is about cereal. ;)
We had no problems with the cereal coupons today, even though for whatever reason they wouldn’t scan (and the cashier had no issue with that, she said there were many coupons that weren’t scanning).
Our cereal stockpile is now complete and we’ve got an overflowing pile of food items to donate to the food pantry, including fruit snacks and cereal which we just picked up with our double-couponing deals at Jewel.

Oh why did my printer have to stop working, and this past week of all weeks. We haven’t seen prices like this for cereal in a long time.

Even though the coupons say 5 per person, per day, could I make two visits in one day? Are my uses linked to my preferred card?

The Eola Jewel has extra flyers to hand out… My husband I went there today and managed to get 10 boxes of cereal, a dozen eggs, and a package of frozen chopped green and red bell peppers for $2.79! So Thankful they did this! I hope they continue it once in a while!!!

HIGHLY DOUBT it is tracked… unless they are mailed DIRECTLY to you… I don’t think their computer system is that “high tech” granted it’s been a few years since I worked there… lol

5 boxes of cereal, 2 Kikkomin marinades, 2 Activia 4 packs and after the 6 doubles, and 2 “Off your next purchase” coupons I paid 66 cents, and got the $1.50 off your next purchase. Thank you Jill.

I’m very new to strategic couponing…I was excited that this would be my first chance at trying it out and getting 5 free boxes of cereal. However, I went to 3 Jewel stores in my area, and the cereal that was being promoted as 5 for $10 were all out – at ALL 3 stores. I was so disappointed!
