Jewel-Osco’s Stock Up Sale: What I’m stocking up on…

Here’s my shopping trip from Jewel-Osco’s Stock Up Sale this week:

• Five boxes of State Fair Corn Dogs: $3.50 each. I used five .75 coupons from the 8/25 RP and paid $2.75 per box.
• Five Michelina’s Sweet and Sour Chicken meals: .88 each. I used a $1-off-5 printable to drop these to .68 each!
• Four Capri-Sun 100% Juice 10-packs: $2.99 each. I used four $1 peelies found on the boxes to drop these to $1.99. (More on these in a minute…)
• Two New York Breadsticks: $2.50 each. I used two .50 printables and paid $2 per box.
• Ten Yoplait Greek Yogurt cups: $1 each. I used two $1-off-5 coupons (9/29 SS, 8/25 SS, printable, or SavingStar ecoupon) and paid .80 per cup.
• Three Barilla pasta sauces: $2 each. I used two .75 printables and paid $4.50. (I’d already used my $1 coupons from the 9/29 SS.)
• Two Hungry Jack Hash Browns: $1 each. I used two .50 printables and paid $1 for two, or .50 each.
• One bag of Farm Rich meatballs: $4.99. I used a $1 printable (another printable here) and paid $3.99.

I got back:

• A 25 Box Tops for Education Catalina for buying the ten Yoplait
• A $2 Catalina for buying three Barilla pasta sauces (offer runs through 10/6!)
• Six Rachael Ray Dinnerware stamps for the Jewel promotion that’s currently running

I was especially excited about the Capri-Sun 100% Juices. They’re usually not on sale when regular Capri-Suns are, and I don’t like to buy the regular ones anymore after they went back to sweetening them with high-fructose corn syrup. But check out what I saw on an endcap near the juice aisle in Huntley:

All of the Capri-Sun 100% Juice and Super-V had $1 peelies on them! These peelies are valid only on these two varieties, so hopefully people won’t peel them & try to use them on other prices. $2/box is a great price for the 100% juice.

I used $15.25 worth of manufacturer coupons and paid $47.68 for everything.

What did I forget?! Apples! 3lb. bags of Red Delicious, Jonathan and Macintosh apples are $1.99. Now I need to go back…
