Possible free/bargain Febreze products

I have seen quite a few Febreze seasonal scent Air Effects and candles on clearance at my stores (Huntley and Algonquin) – Air Effects for $1.14 and Febreze candles for $1.19. Clip and carry your $2-off-2 Febreze coupons from the 1/25 PG. I paid .14 for Air Effects and .19 for candles!

Other readers have reported seeing the sprays clearanced for $1 at their stores, so – free! (The same PG insert has a .75 coupon too, and MyMixx has a .75 coupon.)

FREE Cookie Credit Card and Fruit Cards for kids at Jewel

Pick up a free “Cookie Credit Card” in the bakery, and your child can get a free cookie with every visit to Jewel. And, pick up a “Healthy Eaters” card at the customer service counter, and your child can get a FREE banana or Red Delicious apple when they shop with you. Through 12/31/15.

A note on overage and B1G1F sales

Jewel’s coupon policy allows shoppers to apply manufacturer coupon overage to other items in the same transaction. It also allows two manufacturer coupons to be used on a Buy One Get One Free sale. There have been register issues with this in the past, but many reports are coming in that the issues have been fixed. (Fantastic!)

Watch very closely with two coupons on a Buy One Get One Free. The second coupon will appear to scan fine, but it will show as $0.00 at the register. Be prepared to call on your cashier to manually adjust this for you immediately if they do not intervene.

If you anticipate any issues with this, I would recommend carrying a copy of Jewel’s coupon policy, which outlines both of these issues clearly.

I spotted an in-store deal today — 16oz. International Delight coffee creamers are $2 through 2/24 (I actually saw this previously, but we had no coupons for them.) There was a blinkie dispenser on the fridge case door with $1-off-2s inside — makes them $1.50 each.

I am not impressed with Jewels new digital coupon program thus far. Krogers is far better, but I’m sure there were glitches in their system at 1st as well.

Was going to ask if you made a typo in the V-8 juice price, because you list it was on sale for $1.50, used a $1 coupon, yet paid $1.50 after the deal? Did you mean it was on sale for $2.50?

I take it there is no freebie this week on MyMixx for Jewel, or am I missing it? Thanks!

More clearance Febreze products to watch for: 4 scents of wax melts (Hawaiian, almond, cranberry, pine) are marked down to .89 at my Jewel. With the .75 coupon on MyMixx or 1/25 PG, they’re .14! With the $2-off-2 from the same insert — free with overage.

I have been to Jewel twice and only saw the Jewel brand Milk for $1.99 not the Dean’s. Is it a MyMixx sale?

Hi- I was at the Wilmette Jewel on Green Bay yesterday, and they had tons of cans of Stephen’s candy cane cocoa in the clearance section for $.50 a can. It was not in the usual location near the milk. It was on an endcap in the middle of the store. They also had other Stephen’s hot cocoa mix for $2 a can such as peanut butter cup, and they had some bags of holiday Java coffee for $3, as well as some gluten free stuff. I’ve noticed that there seems to be a lot of gluten free stuff on clearance all the time. They also had some cartons of Holiday nog for $1. It might have been Pacific, but I am not sure.
