Jewel-Osco Deals of the Week: 2/25/15 – 3/3/15

14-15.25oz. Essential Everyday canned vegetables are .60 per can. If you printed the $1-off-3 coupon for these when it was available, buy three. Pay .80 for three, or about .27 per can!

12-16oz. Ronzoni pasta is on sale for .88. Buy two and use a $1-off-2 printable (two coupons at link!) to drop these to .38 each!

Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts 6-8oz. are $1.99. Through 3/24, buying any two Pop-Tarts Gone Nutty Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jelly or Chocolate Strawberry will generate $1 in instant savings! For the Gone Nutty varieties, use the .50 coupon from the 2/1 RP or this $1-off-2 printable. Pay $1.98 for two, or .99 each!

For regular varieties, buy three and use the $1-off-3 from the 2/1 RP to drop these to $1.66 each. (The ad does not mention regular varieties being part of the instant savings deal…)

In-store, I spotted sale tags for Nabisco Cheese Nips. They’re 3-for-$5 through 3/7. Buy two and use the .75-off-2 from the 1/18 SS (exp. 2/28!) Pay $2.58 for two, or $1.29 per box!

Stouffer’s Classics or Simple Dishes Entrées 8.3-12.75oz. are $2. Buy two and use the $1-off-2 from the 1/25 RP2 to drop these to $1.50 each.

Sunshine Cheez-It Crackers 11.5-13.7 oz. are $2.50. Buy two and use the $1-off-2 from the 1/25 RP1 or the SnackTackler coupon book (book found in stores around Super Bowl time – expires 2/28!) and drop these to $2 per box.

The alert I’ve seen for this Catalina is from Price Chopper (east coast) but it’s likely that it’s running at Jewel too. Try for the Catalina by buying four! Use two $2-off-2 coupons from the 1/25 RP1 (exp. 2/28!). Pay $18 and get a $3 Catalina. That’s $15 for four, or $3.75 each.

Jewel’s coupon policy allows shoppers to apply manufacturer coupon overage to other items in the same transaction. It also allows two manufacturer coupons to be used on a Buy One Get One Free sale. There have been register issues with this in the past, but many reports are coming in that the issues have been fixed. (Fantastic!)

Watch very closely with two coupons on a Buy One Get One Free. The second coupon will appear to scan fine, but it will show as $0.00 at the register. Be prepared to call on your cashier to manually adjust this for you immediately if they do not intervene.

If you anticipate any issues with this, I would recommend carrying a copy of Jewel’s coupon policy, which outlines both of these issues clearly.
