Jewel’s ads state “Prices are good, unless otherwise indicated, at all Jewel-Osco stores.” As long as your store carries these items, you should be able to get the prices at your local Jewel too.

Watch very closely with two coupons on a Buy One Get One Free. The second coupon will appear to scan fine, but it will show as $0.00 at the register. Be prepared to call on your cashier to manually adjust this for you immediately if they do not intervene.

If you anticipate any issues with this, I would recommend carrying a copy of Jewel’s coupon policy, which outlines both of these issues clearly.

  1. The Jewel by me (Harlem & Foster) has little 6 oz cups of Friendly’s Ice Cream which are on sale through 6/15 for 10/$10 or $1 ea. With the $1 novelty coupon in 6/1 SS these are free and ring up at the register without any problem.

  2. Hi- I was at the Jewel on Chicago Ave. in Evanston today, and they had fisher peanuts in the 14 oz. jar on sale for $2.50, and there is a $1 coupon in today’s Tribune for it. Kemp’s frozen yogurt is on sale through 7/1 for 2/$6, and there is a $1 coupon in the Tribune today for that too. Finally this store has all their mushroom compost and manure marked down to $1 a bag. They had lots of it left when I left the store a few minutes ago. You might check your local Jewel store too to see if it is marked down.

    I also looked at the clearance section, and they had mustard, hot sauce, and BBQ sauce marked 50% off, and they had a few boxes of multigrain cheerios in the clearance bin, but I did not know how much it was. Hope this helps, Nancy
