A recent discussion in the blog forum (see “Got Wen? For how much?“) led me to look up the best prices at the moment for Wen cleansing conditioner. As of yesterday, I’ve been using Wen for one entire year! I’ll do a one-year writeup of my Wen experience soon. (You can read about my first month review of Wen, and continued impressions, beginning at this link.)
The “normal” price for one 16-ounce bottle of Wen is $30 — definitely steep. Is it worth a dollar a day to have soft, shiny hair? I didn’t want to get hooked on the product, but I was right away. I was also determined to get the best price possible for Wen.
If you haven’t tried Wen and are Wen-curious, Wen has three packages available through the end of June for their Wen Summer Honey Peach formula:
$29.95 package:
16oz. Wen Cleansing Conditioner
Anti-Frizz Styling Creme
WEN SIXTHIRTEEN® Ultra Nourishing Cleansing Treatment
Free 3-piece Travel or Style Kit
Free shipping
$39.95 package:
16oz. Wen Cleansing Conditioners
Anti-Frizz Styling Creme
WEN SIXTHIRTEEN® Ultra Nourishing Cleansing Treatment
Replenishing Treatment Mist
Straightening Smoothing Gloss
Free 3-piece Travel or Style Kit
Free shipping
$79.95 package:
Three 16oz. Wen Cleansing Conditioners
Extra-Large Anti-Frizz Styling Creme
Extra-Large WEN SIXTHIRTEEN® Ultra Nourishing Cleansing Treatment
Free 3-piece Travel or Style Kit
Free shipping
If you’re interested in any of these, order them from Wen before the end of June when these offers end.
If you are not interested in trying any of the extras and simply want the best price on Wen: June is “Wen Month” at QVC.
QVC has 2-bottle packs of Wen for $40 all the time when they are running Wen specials – that’s $20 per 16oz. bottle, which is a lower everyday price than Wen has. They don’t always have the seasonal varieties at this price, but $20 is better than $30! Go here and search for “Wen Duo” to find those deals & keep in mind that shipping is not included.
Also, in June, QVC offers Wen in gallon jugs. It’s the only time of the year they do this. They sell gallons for $177 (ouch!) If you do the math, this is $22.12 per 16 ounces, so you are still better off buying the 2-bottle Wen Duo for $40.
A few times a year they also do Today’s Special Value offers on Wen, which is how I grabbed my last 5-bottle pack for $79.86, which worked out to $15.97 per bottle. The next QVC Wen special is on 6/28, this coming Saturday. When you know QVC is having a “Wen Day,” it’s a good time to either tune in or check QVC.com for possible better pricing.
