Looking for Jansport backpack deals?

Back-to-School is almost here! I’m again receiving email from readers asking for JanSport backpack deals. Many of us like JanSport backpacks for our students, as they’re exceptionally tough and rugged. They also have a lifetime warranty, so once you buy one, you’re done buying backpacks! (I still have my JanSport backpack that I got in college 20 years ago – still in great shape and going strong.)

Tomorrow’s new Target ad has Jansport Trans backpacks for $40… but we can do better than that. These backpacks usually sell in the $30-$50 range, but we like to buy them in the $20-or-less range when possible. A few weeks ago I did a round-up of Jansports on Amazon that were priced around $20. Incredibly, all of the bag styles featured in that post have now jumped to the mid-$30s in price. (Supply and demand – if you wait “too long” to buy a backpack, the prices go up!)
