Am I the only one that finds Marianos too difficult to value shop? I was so excited when I heard they were taking over 2 of the old Dominicks near my home, but one store has been Marianos for nearly a year and the new mega store with all the bells and whistles has been open nearly two months and I have only gone once and that was more to explore than shop. Today there is going to be a former Top Chef contestant at my local store so I thought I would go to the event and do shopping too. Well as I sit down to make my list and coupon matches I am reminded why I don’t bother. Their sales paper has very little in it. The values are in their unadvertised section of the website and well – it is not user friendly at all. You have to pick the Department, then the aisle then product. So for example, say I want to see product, I select Produce Department. Then I go to aisle to select Fruits, Vegetables or Other produce. Okay am I done NOPE now if I pick fruit then I must go to the category tab and then select Apples and wait for it to load, then banana wait for it to load, then grapes, etc etc etc. Seriously been on line 25 minute and only gotten down through the fruits…… in order to browse all the specials it would take me hours at this rate. Am I missing something on this site? is there a way to just see a list of all the unadvertised specials or at least all of them in one department. ? Or is this really the only way, because what mom has several hours to spend just making a grocery list?
