Have you ever tried Mean Green? It’s a heavy-duty cleaner and degreaser that promises to get grease out and eliminate grime from most surfaces. As a couponer, I’ve probably tried nearly every brand-name of cleaning products out there at some point, but I hadn’t tried Mean Green.
Mean Green recently approached me about learning more about the brand as a Mean Green brand ambassador. One of the first things that I learned about Mean Green products is that they’re extremely affordable! Their large, 32-40 ounce bottles of Mean Green Super Strength cleaner and degreaser sell for less than $2.50 at area stores: $2.38 at Walmart, $2 at Dollar General and $2.48 at Lowe’s.
Mean Green sent over a box with everything from super strength degreasers to antibacterial cleaners, and I’ll be putting their products to the test over the next few months. I was actually in the process of washing my truck when my box of Mean Green arrived, so I wasted no time in pulling out the bottle of Mean Green Super Strength and tackling the floor trim:
Yuck! This is one of the areas of my vehicle that gets grungy no matter what. I blasted this area with Mean Green Super Strength and waited about a minute for it to penetrate. Then, I used a paper towel to wipe it down, and…
So much better! My beloved Chevy truck is now twelve years old, and as I don’t anticipate a new vehicle in my future any time soon, I like to keep it looking clean and as new as possible. I honestly thought this did a better job getting rid of the grime than the automotive-specific interior cleaner wipes that I usually use.
I’m going to tackle some more dirty jobs around the house with Mean Green, and I look forward to seeing the results (and having a cleaner house – who wouldn’t like that?)
