Was excited to see Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce on sale for $.99 (thought it was kind of early time of year but hey there’s the superbowl this weekend) and the $1/2 bottles. Also saw the Simply Delicious spread on sale $4/2 and have $1/1 coupon to correspond with it.
Checked out with a year’s supply of BBQ sauce (we use this in leiu of ketchup my son doesn’t eat meat without it) as we were running low. Along with 4 containers of the margarine spread.
First, can’t use more than two like coupons on the spread (forgot about that from last week when I was tempted to use them at Jewel).
Second, since self-checkout person was alerted to the margarine coupon limitation he wanted to see the BBQ coupon. It was for a larger bottle ugghhh!!!
So pretty much a wasted trip and getting very frustrated with the coupon limitations. I will now have to spead time with my magnifying glass and scrutinize every single coupon before I venture out anymore because my shopping experiences have been embarrassing as I think I should know better but have based it on past purchases and now will have to retrain myself….
Thank you for letting me vent.
