Gillette foamy was $1.87 at St Chas Meijer today. Is it included in the spend $25 get $5 deal for Gillette? DH prefers foamy, son likes gel. I like free!

I bought 26 packs of Kool Aid and only got a $1 cat. Did I need to buy 27? Is there any way to get my other $1 coupon?

When you break down the Gillete shaving gel and say pay $0.87 and get a $5 Cat. is the 87 cents the taxes you paid? When I went to Walmart I had to pay taxes on the subtotal before coupons is that normal?

this week-they are 3 for $4, then the $1 off 2 from 8/11 SS, so buy 6 for $8, minus 3 $1/2 is $5, so about $.81 each! Time to stock-up, and they have some new flavors that I want to try-yeah!!!

How does the Meijer rewards work? I have a $5/$20 beauty purchase. Is the $20 before coupons or after? When do I get the $5 off? I’m thinking could be an even better deal for the Gillette. TIA.

I did this deal this past saturday. The shaving cream was at $1.79, but when the coupons were scanned, it did not take the overage. I checked their coupon policy which I carry with me and I did not say anything either. I bought 6 cans of shaving gel and 4 Always boxes. Instead of seeing 2- $6 coupons I saw 2 – $5.37… Shame when they actually get reimbursed $6.00.

First the Bad! I have no one to blame but myself. I saw the Gillette Foamy on sale for $1.79 and the Gel priced at $2.24. I bought twelve foamys and 2 gels thinking to myself overage overage! Well, as you and I know from yesterday’s post…Meijer adjusts down! LOL
To make matters worse, I rang up the 12 cheap ones together and the gels together. I used 4 $6 off 3 coupons and $3 off 2. The only coupon that gave me the full amount was the $3 off 2 since I rang up the 2 gels together. They rang up at $1.99! (I wonder where I heard that price before! LOL) To the lady who posted on 8/14, if you are doing the 13 can gillette deal for the best value, then make sure the foamy is the last can scanned and the $1 of 1 coupon is the last one scanned.
THE GOOD: At the conclusion of my Kool Aid service desk visit, (another post) I informed her that I did not get the Gillette catalina also. The only proof I had regarding the catalina deal was the email list of deals I printed up from this website. I told the lady that Jill was pretty reliable!! (I should listen to my own words huh? LOL) She went to the register rerang my order and printed me up the $5 Catalina! She was also so impressed that she and the cashier wrote down Jill’s website info!
UGLY: Do not buy food and non food products on the same purchase if you are using food stamps and the Meijer cash backs!! The coupons will apply to the groceries and not the non food products. Also, once the food stamp card is applied then no further cash backs are allowed for any remaining balance! CASH ONLY!
The moral to the story is buy the non food products separately and use the cash backs.
