Clearance finds at Meijer today

I went to Meijer this afternoon (mainly to stock up on sugar at its super-low price through today and look for my free Chips Ahoy cookies from Mperks, which Algonquin was sold out of…)

Anyway, anytime I’m at Meijer, I like to cruise the clearance racks for children’s clothing. Today there was a rack full of boys’ long and short sleeve tees on sale for $2.50! I picked up Star Wars, Superman and Monsters University style for just $2.50 each!

In the lower right corner of the photo is an orange sweatshirt too. I had originally seen these 100% cotton hoodies on clearance today too for $8.50. I first spotted these hoodies back in January and have been waiting for them to drop in price since then. This price was good enough for me!

I also saw these kids’ Stompeez slippers on clearance for $4.99! These were around $24 when they first came out — when your child walks in them, the animals’ mouths open and close. My boys have wanted these ever since they saw them on television, and this was a very nice price. I’ll tuck these away in a closet for a future gift…
