Here’s an email from another one of Johnny’s listeners who loves the Mitchum deodorant deal:
“So this Mitchum deal really rocks! My husband only wears Mitchum too.
I tallied it up. We bought 59 deodorants. We spent $34.88 out of our pockets. We have $43.00 in Catalina coupons to use at Jewel (these are the same as cash.) So Jewel paid us $8.12 to take the deodorant home.
It was really hard to stop. We ended up with a $2 coupon off another Mitchum. But we will always end up with a coupon. We hit our last Jewel at 11:00 tonight and today was the last day of the deal.
It is hard to believe we ever paid full price (or half price at that) for this stuff before. We can’t believe how easy it is to save/make all this money on stuff we need and would have bought otherwise. My husband says he used to think BOGO was a good deal, but now he says ‘BOGO is BOGUS!'”
