Cleaning enzymes help deep clean fibers so stains lift off with ease. Cleaning polymers, designed to boost Tide’s cleaning surfectants, help break up dry stains and lift them from fabrics. Surfectant molecules have two parts. One is “water-loving” and the other is “water-hating.” The water-loving (hydrophilic) part breaks the surface tension of water.   3. My husband is terrible on his clothes…stains every day! Motor oil, grass, grease, olive oil, salad dressing. It’s a never ending battle! I sure could use these. :)

  14. As an adult, I don’t use brands, just because it’s what I grew up with. In fact, I find that I really don’t even use the same products! Tide is the exception. As a kid, I remember always having that gigantic box of Tide powder. It was as big as a paper grocery bag! It was huge. My mom only bought Tide. Now, with kids of my own, I use liquid Tide. It is the best.

  16. I recently tried the Tide pods and I’m obsessed! I’ve never been a detergent snob, but that might be changing. Tide is fantastic.
