New P&G mail-in offer: Free Febreze Home Collection Set

My beautiful mom spotted this one today at Jewel in the wraparound ad that the Spanish Jewel-Osco locations get. It’s a mail-in rebate for a free Febreze Home Collection set with $30 worth of P&G products purchased in one transaction. The set includes:

• 1 Febreze Flameless Luminary Lamp
• 4 Febreze Flameless Luminary Refills
• 2 Duracell Batteries
• 1 Febreze No-Spill Wood Diffuser

While I don’t think this set is nearly as hot as the “Taste of Home” one we saw this spring (a $25 P&G receipt got you a rice cooker, tamale pot and cookbook) if you’re doing any large P&G purchases over the next week, keep your receipt as you may be eligible for this one too.

Now, the downsides: The P&G items must be purchased by 6/6/12 (soon!) and all on a single Jewel-Osco receipt. The form reads “Official order form and original cash register receipt must be obtained from the same Jewel-Osco.”

And… the rebate says you must purchase “$30 or more of eligible P&G products” … and does not specify which P&G products are eligible. In fact, the ad says “See back for all qualifying products and additional items.” On the back page of the ad are this weeks produce deals. P&G and Jewel are not exactly making this one easy.

I wouldn’t necessarily chase this, but if you are doing some bigger P&G over the next week AT a Spanish Jewel that has these forms, you could go for it. We’re supposed to have a P&G “Spend $20, Get $5” Catalina beginning on Sunday, and other P&G items (Tide) already have single-product Catalina deals running on them right now.
