My syndicated Super-Couponing Tips column for the week is entitled “Watch for enticing return-to-store offers.“
Here’s an excerpt:
“…from what I’ve seen lately at the grocery stores and pharmacies ads in my area, the special offers have started to return over the past couple of weeks. One major supermarket in my area has been rolling out weekly offers that, frankly, are so good that they’ve made me think about picking up the car keys again too!”

A good sign to be sure.

Why don’t you post your columns here on your web site? Or do you and I just can’t find them?
I don’t want to subscribe to the Napa Valley Register. And while I’m at it, why is your column in a California paper and not a local one??

I do post links each week to read them in one of the papers that carries them. If you open the Napa Valley Register link in an incognito browser window, you will not need to subscribe to read it.
My paper is syndicated all over the United States in more than 150 papers nationally. However, not all of them carry the column online — the majority of them run it in print-only format, or it’s fully behind a paywall. Others share it in less than web-friendly format (example from the Dallas Morning News: https://www.pressreader.com/usa/the-dallas-morning-news/20200703/282316797318282_
I’d love to be in more local papers. I used to be in the Chicago Tribune, but unfortunately they dropped it.
I cannot post my entire column on my blog, because my column content is licensed through a syndicator. It is, quite literally, my “day job” which pays the bills. :) If I gave it away free, I doubt any publication would pay to run the column.

Having had, then lost, Jill’s column in my local paper, despite practically begging the paper to pick it up again, I can share your frustration. I think we’re lucky it’s still available online at all. Napa doesn’t require a subscription if you don’t lose an ad blocker.

Believe me, I am grateful not only for everyone who reads and lets their publications know they enjoy it – I’m also grateful for every single paper that continues to carry it.
