Great column. I have no idea if the writer’s experience was at CVS. If so, this might signal a change in policy. CVS had been defaulting to applying percent off a single item to the highest priced item.

It would be nice to know what store it was so we carefully scrutinize their coupons in the future. With all the electronic coupons available nowadays who has time to try to find the “hidden” catch at every store? Thanks for the nice heads up though.
