Hello again, Super-Couponers… this week, I’ve got an Entertainment Book giveaway for you!

Are you familiar with the Entertainment Book? It’s filled with hundreds of 50% off and 2-for-1 discounts for your area on the things you do everyday like dining, groceries, shopping, services, and attractions, plus great discounts on travel, home furnishings and much more!

Here in Chicagoland, there are so many great coupons for area business that Entertainment actually splits the offers into TWO Chicago books: Chicago North and Chicago South and West. You can click the links to browse the offers in each book. When you buy the book, you also get access to additional Entertainment.com-only printable coupons for additional discounts throughout the year.

The Entertainment Book normally sells for $20-$35, depending on where you buy it and what kinds of promotions stores are offering, but my “price” is even better! I’ve got one Chicago North book AND one Chicago South and West book to give away to TWO lucky blog readers!

So how do you enter? Simply reply to this post to enter the giveaway… but there’s a twist! Mention which Chicago book, North or South you’d like to receive if you win somewhere in your post! Feel free to share some of your favorite places to use Entertainment Book coupons in your post too!

This Entertainment Book giveaway begins today, December 12, and runs for one week. The contest will end on December 18th at 11:59pm, and on December 19th, two winners will be chosen via a random number generator. Each winner will receive ONE Entertainment Book, either the Chicago North OR the Chicago South and West book. (Winners do not receive both books — one or the other. If you do NOT use the word “North” or “South” somewhere in your post, you will not be entered into the contest.)

The contest began at midnight CST on December 12, 2010 and will end at 11:59pm CST on December 18, 2010. Two winners will be chosen via random-number generator on December 19, 2010 and announced the same day.   32. Haven’t bought one of these for many years. Last time we did, we realized that there just weren’t that many coupons for places out here that we’d actually use. We’re in the far NW suburbs, not that far from Jill or Prea. Most of our dining out is either in McHenry county or in NE Kane county.

    Does any one know of a list of the places in either book that we could take a look at???

  33. We have gotten Entertainment books in the past and really like the coupons offered in them and online. We live in Palatine, so that’d be the North book, right?? I can’t remember if they do a Northwest book or not. It’s been about 3 yrs since we bought one.

  54. Love these books! There are usually neighborhood kids selling these for school fund raisers, but the neighborhood is too old now! Chicago North!

  55. One of our favorite places that we go to regularly now is a place that we visited because of the Entertainment book last year, which we received as a gift — Mario’s in Wheaton. Owned and operated by Mario and his wife. Great food, great family atmosphere. Would love to have the opportunity to try other new places in 2011.

  87. Jill, I would love to win this South/West Book. Last year, my daughter sold the most at her school but this year they aren’t selling them anymore. Everyone at my husband’s work has been asking for them.

    I especially love using the theatre coupons with the reduced price and free popcorn.

  102. To “Kampai-lovin’ sissie” below: try Kegon in Northbrook. They’re also in the Entertainment book and they let you re-use your coupon over and over! How great is that!

    I bought the Chicago South and West book last year when you mentioned it on your blog. I got if for $10. My favorite coupons were the ones for Dominick’s! I used them all and it felt great. Used some coupons for movies, too. I love to save money and you are helping me do that! Thanks for all you do!

  114. Love the Entertainment Book. I’m on automatic renewal for the Chicago North book and I’ve been getting it for over 5 years. So many deals. I love the department and other store coupons in there as well as the casual dining. It’s always a great way to try new places as well with the coupons offered and also the online printable offers.
