My CVS app also has the BOGO coupon. It expires 12/31/17.

I don’t believe the CVS registers are programmed to sell you each bag for $3.00 like Jewel’s would be…
The sale is 2 for $6.00.
They usually charge you FULL price for the 1st bag (purchase $3.79) & then whatever the difference is between $6.00 less that 1st purchase is what they will charge you for the 2nd bag ($2.21). That will be less than $3.00. And the 2nd item is what usually comes off, unless you have a nice cashier = YMMV.
If they are $3.79 then the 2nd bag will be $2.21
That would be $3.79 + the free bag w/ coupon $0.00 – $2.00 ECB = $1.79 + tax for 2 (or 89.5 cents each + tax)
I hope I’m wrong on this one & that they do come out to 50 cents each.
