For dogs.
Now, I am one of the biggest dog lovers that you’ll ever meet. I consider my bond with my dog to be akin to that of a family member. But I cannot see myself buying “power bars” for a dog..!
Am I crazy? I mean, I know the nutrition bar trend is popular, and there’s a huge market for things like this — but according to the coupon in the new SmartSource, these bars retail for up to $2.99 each. The ad instructs me to feed these “before and after exercise.” Give the dog a SPORT PRIME bar because it “helps keep muscles strong during activity.” When your dog has finished his workout (no doubt after a long day at the doggie gym,) “give him a ReFUEL bar, which “promotes muscle rebuilding after activity.”
How on earth did my dog survive without these essential sport bars prior to their existence? And at $2.99 each, we’re looking at almost $6 in supplements per canine workout session.
Would you buy an energy bar for your dog?
