SavingStar’s been hinting at adding support for additional stores in July. It appears that (very quietly) the new stores have been added to SavingStar this week!
You can now use SavingStar at:
- Target
- Walmart
- Walgreens
- Meijer
- Piggly Wiggly
- Dollar General
- Family Dollar
You can view the list of new stores at SavingStar.com by clicking “My Account,” then “Stores.”
One new and important change: To redeem offers at these six stores, you’ll need to shop, then scan your receipts (similar to what we do with Checkout51 and Ibotta offers) via the SavingStar app. You can still load offers over the web.
You can download the SavingStar app from Google Play or the App Store. If you do not have a smartphone, tablet or other device, you will not be able to redeem SavingStar offers at these newly-added stores.
