Note on Name Change

Schnucks announced this week that they are changing the names of all of the Schnucks-owned Rockford and Janseville Hilander and Logli store locations to “Schnucks.” Accordingly, I’m blogging these as only “Schnucks” deals now. As always, I use the Cherry Valley store ad to write these deals.

SUPER TRIPLE COUPONS!

This week, Schnucks will TRIPLE coupons up to .75 in face value! You are limited to 20 tripled coupons per day, per household. There is no overage when the coupon exceeds the cost of the item. Schnucks also typically limits to three like coupons per transaction.

Went to cherry valley since we were out that way -THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to the readers who blogged the deals!! One point to add, in addition to 20 per household per day limit, they are limiting the coupons to 3 like coupons. However, the staff was friendly and customer service let me redeem 2 sets of 4 like as a courtesy sinc it was my first time ever in a schnucks.

Chatted with the cashier and customer service a bit about stocking up (got the usual “why do you buy so many…”) and explained that I often shop not only for my smaller family, but also donate to the food pantry and to women’s shelters) at whic point a light bulb went off and they understood better why I and other couponers might buy multiples of an item.

Also picked up a nice meal deal there- 7.50? For refrigerated pasta plus, sauce, plus garlic bread, plus bagged salad.

One of the staff members noticed I took the papa Charlie’s deal and also alerted me to a free 2L of soda (with hanging coupon on the bottle) that I could also take advantage of.

So, really good experience- will be back there today when we go to get our grill from Hy-vee and will definitely stop back
