If you’re looking for seasonal clearance items, take a few minutes to walk around the next time you go to Jewel-Osco. My local Jewel has a bunch of grilling and water accessories on clearance right now. In fact, the majority of the seasonal aisle is on sale right now! Here are some photos from my store…
These grill topper baskets for grilling small vegetables or shrimp are marked down to $1.19 each.
Here are some more grilling deals — meat thermometers are marked down to $1.79, and long metal shisk kebabs are $1.49.
Here’s a charcoal chimney for $8.39 and a wood chip smoker canister for $5.99.
As an aside, I LOVE my charcoal chimney! I haven’t bought lighter fluid in more than two years after my mom gifted me with one of these. (Thanks, Mom!) It takes the charcoal about the same time to heat up with fluid as it does by starting it in the chimney, but you just need a sheet of newspaper stuffed in the bottom to get it going.
Who else thinks it is funny that the “Grill It Up Bug Zapper Racket” is an essential grilling tool too? It’s on sale for $4.19!
I thought this was pretty neat – a metal basting pan that sits in the grill to heat BBQ sauces or marinades. It’s marked down to $3.59. Grill scrubbing tools are $1.49.
These large pumice stones for cleaning the grill grate are marked down to .89 each.
My store has a large selection of pool floats, goggles, dive sticks, swim diapers and other water gear marked down too.
Many of these pool floats are marked down to $3.59 – $5.99, depending on size, and the inflatable kiddie pools at the bottom are $11.99.
These Intex air mattresses are marked down to $1.49. We like to have extras of these on hand for campouts (backyard or basement, especially if our kids’ friends stay over) or, of course, for fun in the pool or lake too.
These oversized beach balls are marked down to $2.39, and the kiddie water wings are .89.
Many of these grilling and pool items have an August 15th end date for these clearance prices, which makes me think they may drop even more next week. I’ll have to stop back in a few days and check everything out. Have you spotted any good seasonal clearances at your stores?

Good buys! Would be nice to see Jewel-Osco in Central Florida!!! I Bought some outdoor pillows for my front porch at Walmart about a week ago… marked down to $2.50 each. Couldn’t make if for that price.
