We’ve got another new ecoupon app to watch, and this one’s called Shopmium. Shopmium is similar to Ibotta and Checkout 51 in that you buy an item, then scan a photo of the receipt with your smartphone or tablet to receive reimbursement. Shopmium is available in the App Store or via Google Play and is not available to use via the web.
If you’re interested in trying Shopmium, when you install the app, it will ask you for a referral code. Enter “GMMCAMVV” and you’ll get an ecoupon for a free Lindt chocolate bar! (Note that this is my referral code, and I will receive $2 via the app when you redeem your first offer.) The Lindt offer is valid for the first 8 days after creating your account.
Other offers currently on Shopmium:
– $1 off any Smuckers Fruit Spread
– $1 off Ritz Bits crackers
– $1 off Freschetta pizza
– $1 off Quest Protein Bar
– $1 off 2 Belvita breakfast biscuits 8.8oz.
– .50 off Chobani Greek Yogurt, any variety
– .75 off Red Bull 8.4oz. can or packs
– $1 off Glade Plugins Scented Oil Twin Refill
– $3 off Glade Customizables
– $1 off CLR Bath & Kitchen Cleaner
– $1 off CLR Calcium Lime and Rust Remover
– Get Sun Chips 7oz. for only $2 (refunds the difference between purchase price and $2)
– Get Burt’s Bees beeswax lip balm for only $1 (refunds the difference)
Like Checkout 51, Shopmium is good at almost any store. They state: “You must buy the product in a store that provides a computerized sales receipt with the name of the store, clear product details (like a dedicated product line with the name of the product), and the date and time of the purchase. Sales receipts from small delis or markets are usually not accepted.”
Shopmium payment withdrawls are made via Paypal or bank transfer.

I bought a Lindt Classic pistachio candy bar at Meijer today and tried to enter it in the app – it was “not eligible.” For $2.69 I hope it’s good, as I never would have bought it otherwise..!
Now I see that I probably should have checked the item’s eligibility in store (it has a UPC scanner in the app) but – I didn’t. Anyway, a heads-up to everyone. This one’s new to me too…

With another app added to my phone…
Some of the Shopmium offers look like they are also available on other apps & in-store coupons & manufacturer coupons & m-perks & cartwheel.
Somehow I’m thinking it’s got to be against some policy with some of these to be combined.
In the end, it has to be costing the manufacturer money somewhere.
This is getting crazy.
How am I supposed to keep track of all the fine print & policies???
I think I read SavingStar can not be combined with something else.
So I look at this:
https://www.shopmium.com/en/terms-conditions
https://savingstar.com/blog/terms-of-service/
https://www.checkout51.com/terms
https://ibotta.com/docs/terms
I am not a lawyer.
Anyone want to chime in?

Does it matter which store I purchase the product from? If I am understanding correctly, it matters with Ibotta but not with Checkout 51.

Sign up using Jill’s referal code. I believe you will get 2 then this week. I haven’t seen this posted anywhere else yet. I already did the offer when I signed up under Jill.
You can still to the Tic-Tac deal for FREE Tic-Tacs… and if you do it at a SavingStar participating grocer including Jewel, you get the bonus 20% off (back) as well.
So that can be two FREE deals on the first visit using Shopmium.
Jewel also have Chobani 100 for $1 each, so you can submit 3 offers for that as well. 1 per receipt, one with 3, one with 2, and one with 1.
