of the days of shopping cart “diving” where people would throw money around. One day I collected $25 in Cats off your next order. Oh the good old days

I found a $20 OYNP catalina outside a Jewel in Barrington. I’ve found plenty of coupons in the meijer parking lot; maybe I’ll start taking the scenic route back to the car…

And people wonder why they don’t have enough money to make their groceries stretch. Free is always good, especially since you are going to spend the $10 anyway.

I saw some meijer store catalina coupons in the meijer trash can (in the store) when I was throwing away some expired coupons of my own and pulled the catalinas out to look at them. I started walking away with them when the store greeter told me I can’t do that. She didn’t take them away, but just told me not to take them.
In my thinking, these coupons encourage shopping at this store, so what’s the big deal?
