If you’ve got kids in diapers, you’re going to want to jump on this one immediately! Toys/Babies R Us is running a 2-day-only diaper deal. Jumbo packs of Fisher Price, Earth’s Best, Huggies Pure and Natural and Huggies Little Movers, as well as Babies R Us Mega Pack diapers are all $5!
This deal is especially great on the Huggies Pure and Natural, because reader Lynn spotted a double-dip on these…
FREE $5 gift card when you buy two packs of Huggies Pure and Natural! The 7/17 SS has a $1.50 coupon for Huggies. With two coupons, pay $7 for 2 jumbo packs of Huggies Pure and Natural and get a $5 gift card back – that’s $2 for 2, or $1 each!
If you’ve got a baby at home, check any mailers you may have gotten from any of the diaper companies too – Lynn had a $3.50 off Pure and Natural coupon from a mailer, which resulted in two FREE jumbo packs of Huggies when used with a $1.50 insert coupon and the same deal outlined above. While the sign says “Limit 1 per guest,” Lynn writes that the register triggered a gift card for every 2 Huggies Pure and Natural purchased, and the cashier said it was fine. See what your store location allows.
Lynn also writes that the Babies R Us Mega Packs are a good buy even without coupons, as they contain 40-66 diapers per pack for $5, versus the 23-33 in many of the name-brand jumbo packs.
UPDATE: The Huggies Jeans diapers are a good buy too if you can’t find the Pure & Natural. They’re Buy One, Get One Half Off ($5 and $2.50, respectively.) Two Huggies Jeans jumbos will cost $7.50. With two $1.50 coupons, that’s $4.50, or $2.25 per pack!
A big thank you to readers Hwendt12 for spotting this fantastic deal, and Lynn for taking photos of the signs!
UPDATE: Reader Maggie wrote with a printable coupon for the Seventh Generation diapers too: .50 printable

were BOGO 1/2 off so $5 for one and $2.50 for the other and I had a coupon for $1.50 off (dont remember which insert) and got the second for $1! The seventh generation diapers (green pack) if you buy those for $5 you get a pack of wipes for free! Awesome!

I’ve got my coupons out…and I’ll be there when the doors open tomorrow morning!! Thanks everyone!! The gift card is one per customer (looks like an opportunity to teach my 7 year old son how to coupon lol).

I was so excited when I saw this post at 6:30 tonight that I got my coupons together and ran to the Babies R Us in Orland. They were sold out of almost all of the $5 diapers. They had one package of Huggies Pure and Natural (so I bought it because I had a $2 off coupon…so $3 was still a good price even though I could not get the giftcard). I asked a couple of workers in the store, and they said they were sold out at noon. Next, went to Toys R Us in Orland hoping they had some left. Again, they said they had been sold out since noon. Lastly, went to the Walmart in Orland Hills for a return. While at the CS desk I asked if they price match Babies R Us. She said, “yes!” Unfortunately, they also did not have the diapers! So Bummed! But, I thought I would post here to save someone else the trouble of traveling to these stores in Orland. (Also, as you can see in the picture, they offer no rain checks on these.)

In all fairness, I read about the deal on slickdeals this morning, but I wasn’t sure if anyone else was familiar with the site. Just trying to spread the word to the most people… :)

They are sold out of the pure and naturals all sizes and the size 2 and 4 Huggies Jeans diapers. They had about 6 packs of the size 3 and 12 of the size 5. That was at 7pm. Hope this info helps.

If they have ANY in stock you can always buy the wrong size and exchange later.

I just got back from a 2 month vacation on Saturday. What a way to jump in on the sales… still sleepy from an 8-hour time zone difference, but for a $1 a pack I think I’m going to have to make my way out the door today….still have diapers from when jewel had the double dip cats going on a few months ago, and diapers don’t have expiration dates…
thanks for the post

I had to fight for them to price match this morning because the ad said “limited quanities” just beware. My Walmart didn’t have the Naturals, but I did get the Jean print ones for $5 a package and used my $1.50 off coupon. Thanks!

My Walmart didnt allow it! They told me it was only local stores (my babies r us is 13 miles away!) they would match and I had a copy off the internet and they said it wasnt the real ad. I argued that I didnt need to show them an ad at all! I had 2 kids with me and didnt have my policy. I am not happy!
