    Just finished watching the new DVD and it was awesome. Will probably watch it a couple of more times over the next week or so to make certain I catch everything. Thank you so much for all your hard work! I thought I was doing pretty well with this coupon thing but after watching the deals you put together I realized I’m still just an amateur :-( but very inspired to take it to the next level.

    Not sure how I missed this post for an entire week.
    I tried two years ago to see SC2 at SPL in June but my son had to go to the ER that night so as much as I tried I had to walk out of the class :-( Then this past April at the MGPL I signed up months ahead of time and thought it was the end of April so I was waiting and waiting and finally saw it had been the beginning of April and I missed it. I work for accountants-I have a good excuse for not remembering anything in April!
    So I am hoping the dvd works out better :-)
    Btw, last Sunday in the early am at Walgreens, I renewed a prescription and had her ring up my sale items. She commented on the good deals and said “are you a follower of…” And she wasn’t talking about TLC. :-)
    Thanks to you I just got loads of summer clothes for my two grandsons for $37 at Kohls by using their clearance sale along with two discounts. Tomorrow free paint at Menards using rebates upon rebates.

  9. Ok I have to admit when I watched the dvd and you talked about the goldfish deal I was doubtful it would work. I know you had the receipt and everything but often times deals I see on the blogs just don’t work out in my area for whatever reason.

    Well today at CVS I had 2 CVS coupons for b2g1 Sobe waters. The waters were on sale b1g1 so I thought “hmmmm very similar to the gold fish deal” let’s see how this works. I asked one of the Assistent Managers who knows me and my coupons so she just laughed and said “you are really going to make me think here…”. We had figured for each coupon I buy 2 and get 3 free. So I checked out with 10 of them. They rang up 1.69 each for 5 and then 5 for free. She then took off 2 $1.69 for the coupons so I actually paid for 3 and got 7 free. Yippeeee!!!! I’ll be honest enough to admit I’m not certain I understand how I only paid for 3 though…any thoughts???

  10. I had to share part of this email I received tonight from Kim in Florida, who recently purchased Super-Couponing 2:

    I received your new Supercouponing 2 dvd yesterday in the mail and watched it today. I really learned alot when I watched Supercouponing (1) and was inspired to dive into the illusive world of couponing again.

    This dvd, (dare I say it) is even better than the last. We were both dumstruck by the drugstore $20/10 back deal that went on and on (and on). Then we were awestruck by the Goldfish deal. Ok, the truth be known, we’re still really trying to understand the Goldfish deal, we might need to watch the dvd a couple more times before it really sinks in.

    I did find the quality of this dvd much better than your first, even though I did learn so very much from the Supercouponing original video. I enjoyed the inserts of your personal insights and commentary in this dvd as well.

    Your Supercouponing 2 dvd has (once again) inspired me to get back into my couponing practices. I had all but abandoned them for a time and, this is why…whilst teaching my own couponing class this program started airing on TLC, I’m sure you know it, called “Extreme Couponing.”. My students beseiged me with questions about “how come they can do that well and we can’t.”. After the “we live in florida and no stores double coupons here” answer, I was kind of stumped. Then I fell into despair, myself. I’ve been couponing on and off since the late ’70’s and I’d NEVER had any kind of haul like some of these people on this program.

    But I did read an excellent article on your site about why we might not be getting the same results and that did make me feel a bit better… So, now, dusting myself off and getting back on the coupon train again. Thank you for the time and effort you’ve put into your dvd’s and into your blogs and articles. I never fail to glean something of value for myself and others, Jill.

  11. Wow! Quick shipping! I follow your blog from Texas. I have had to learn to do a lot on my own as we don’t have the same stores as you do. At least we have CVS and Walgreens in my town. I was excited with the release of SC2. I love the shopping scenario from Walgreens with the $5 off $20 post coupon. WOW! Even my kids were impressed.
