What better way to spend inauguration day than welcoming in a new era… of spending less on your groceries in 2009! Super-Couponing came to Darien at the Indian Prairie Public Library tonight. We had a great, enthusiastic class (as usual though, no matter where I teach — I think people love learning to save money!) If you have any questions about tonight’s class, please feel free to post them here.

Wish we could have stuck around for the entire Q & A portion of the class but it’s been a long day! You have such great enthusiasm for couponing! Can’t wait to attend SC2! Hubby even said at least you held his attention and didn’t put him to sleep! That’s HUGE! :) Now, where to fit that freezer….

I’m sure once I really get the hang of this it’ll be no problem. You make it look so easy. I can’t thank you enough for sharing your interest or the Library for having you speak! My mom and I are definitely going to attend the SC2 that you will be speaking at in the future.
I look forward to saving money and having the stores pay me to bring things home!
My only question for you – how long did it take you to become “fluent” in coupon-eze – Being organized and everything?
I know I’m going to save a bit at a time while working myself up to super-couponing status.
Thanks again!

Thank you for a great class, Jill! Really looking forward to SC2!! Also, thank you for the great tip on finding coupon organizers in the $1 bins at Target. We scored some after the class, however, we did not find the expandable folders that you had. Did you get them in the $1 bins as well?
Also, I was wondering what you do in an instance where you are at a store and come across a clearance item that you know you have a coupon for in one of the flyers….which are at home because you weren’t planning on purchasing it on that trip. Do you purchase it anyway or go back home, get the coupon and have to go all the way back to the store? These instances are the only drawback I’m finding to keeping all the fliers and not having a coupon file in the store with me.
