HI Jill! Just wanted to let you know that I tried the mobile coupon that was sent to me via text message after registering my phone number on target.com and it did not work. The coupon is good until 10/1, and the deal was $1 off People magazine. Cashier scanned the bar code on my phone and the value of the coupon came up at 0.00. The GSTL (Guest Service Team Leader, or on-duty front end supervisor) asked if the coupon was only good at target.com since that’s where I got the coupon from. Nothing in the fine print said it was. So, i’m going to email Target HQ and see what they say. The GSTL at the North Aurora store said he had not been giving any HQ news/info that there were going to be mobile coupons available to customers, so he won’t honor the $1 off. I wasn’t that worried about it because it was really just doing this to see if the mobile coupon would work. It didn’t :) I’ll let you know what HQ says.
