I really enjoyed reading this column.
Low value coupons have irked me for years, esp. the P&G .20 ones (.20 on a $5-$10 item, REALLY???) Yes, I know that coupons are a privilege, not a right, and we should be thankful for the savings we do get. Buuut… I as a consumer can also choose not to purchase that product. Maybe it is cutting off my nose to spite my face but I think a .20 coupon actually irritates me more than no coupon at all. Its like I don’t want to buy their product out of spite. After all, there are very few ‘unique’ products on the market nowadays and chances are, a competitor IS offering a coupon for their product. Apparently I’m in the minority though as P&G keeps offering them, so they must be working to promote the products. Anyway, thank you.
