I saw the gift card woes, when a store went bankrupt.
Here’s a positive version…
We had got a Sharper Image gift card with our Discover rebates just before they went bankrupt and closed their stores.
Called Discover and no argument at all, they just refunded the card so we could use the money for something else.

the downsizing of products is a rip off, because they still charge the same amount, so you are paying for less. plus they don’t give the consumer a choice, I would not mind smaller package if paid less. for the lady who says cook less, how is 12 ozs of pasta that much less than 16 ozs, don’t you eat left overs. plus costing your family more when paying for a pound and getting 3/4.
