Michelle prepared a short, six-question survey for coupon users to take part in. It’s voluntary, of course, but if you enjoy taking part in studies such as this, consider participating. It takes less than five minutes to complete.
Michelle will share the results of the survey with us at some point in the future. The survey link will be available through July 2, 2013.
Disclaimer: I have not received compensation, financial or otherwise, for posting this survey link.

I can’t believe the last question on this survey: “Not all food coupons really help someone get proper nutrition. Do you think that food corporations have a social responsibility to provide people who live in poverty and get government assistance with coupons that help them be properly nourished?”
Unbelievable! The government allows people to buy potato chips, soft drinks, etc. with their government assistance money, and yet you might somehow think corporations should design their coupons to encourage people to eat healthy? Manufacturers put out coupons as an advertising gimmick to sell their products. Period. My nutrition, whether I might be on govt. assistance or not, is my responsibility. In fact, if you buy fresh produce, rice, dried beans, eggs, frozen veggies, some dairy and go light on the meat, you can eat fairly cheaply and be properly nourished.
