I went to Target today and picked up a bunch of RoseArt school supplies. As I had five coupons from this past weekend, I picked up a variety of school glue, crayons, and markers for my sons’ school supply lists. When the cashier scanned my fifth RoseArt coupon, the register returned a message that too many like coupons had been scanned, and it would not accept the last coupon.
Sure enough, Target’s coupon policy now reads Limit of 4 identical coupons per household, per day (unless otherwise noted on coupon).
This is the first time I’ve run into this issue since Target’s policy (and apparently, registers) were updated. Just a heads-up for everyone…

are the registers programed for 4 of any q, because some of the q’s out now have a limit of 2 like q’s or even 1 like q’s? I cannot imagine the data-entry nightmare if they were coupon-specific-yikes!

This just happened to me yesterday. I tried to use 5 Krave coupons. The register said to give the coupon back, but the cashier put it in the drawer. When I asked him about it he rescanned the coupon and tried to put it in the drawer again. I had to point out to him that he needed to give it back to me. I do not mind only using 4 coupons, but please don’t try to steal my 5th one!
