I threw this one together solely with coupons that were in my wallet, as well as Target Cartwheel offers and the $10-off-$50 coupon from this week’s ad:
– Five cartons of Minute Maid orange juice: $2.69 – 30% = $1.88 each
– Three cartons of Simply Balanced organic milk: $3.59 – 30% = $2.51 each
– Eight boxes of Lucky Charms: $2.59 – 30% = $1.81 each
– Two Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers: $1.66 – 30% = $1.16 each
– Three Dunkin Donuts ground coffee: $6.99 – 30% = $4.89 each, plus you get a $5 Target gift card for buying 3
– Five Market Pantry string cheese: $1.77 – 30% = $1.24 – 5% Cartwheel = $1.17 each
– Five Market Pantry powdered sugar: $1.59 – 30% = $1.11 – 5% Cartwheel = $1.05 each
– Two white chocolate M&Ms: $2.89 – 30% = $2.02 – 10% Cartwheel = $1.81 each
I used the $10-off-$50 store coupon from the ad, and I had eight .50 Lucky Charms printables too. With tax, I paid $52.23 for everything and got a $5 Target gift card back.
I was really happy with the prices for the organic milk and orange juice! I did go a little overboard about the Lucky Charms, but my kids have been asking to try the chocolate ones, and at $1.38 per box after coupons (and before $10-off-$50), I figured that was a good deal. Thanks to the young bakers in the house, we had run out of powdered sugar, and $1.05 per bag is a great price.
How could I have saved more? Well, if I’d brought the M&Ms coupons with me that I blogged about in this week’s Target writeup they would have been an even better deal! But as I said, we squeezed this quick trip in this morning and it was done on the fly with what I had with me.
The Dunkin Donuts coffee deal was solely my husband’s, as he figured $3.22 per bag was a great price, even without coupons. (The 4/6 RP has a .50 coupon though if you go & are chasing these – and I later realized there’s a 10% off offer on Cartwheel too!) After we got home, I noticed the cashier forgot to adjust the price of one of the Dunkin Donuts coffees down to $4.89, so we lost $2.10 on that deal.
If you go to Dundee, note that the cashier has to manually reduce the price of every item at the register, and I think what happened with the coffee was that the register immediately prompted her to scan the $5 Target gift card, and after she did that, she probably forgot to adjust the price of the third bag of coffee. (And don’t go when you’re in too much of a hurry to watch the register closely — as we were!)
All in all though, it was a pretty good trip.

It’s not officially in their policy like Jewel, but at every Target I’ve ever been to they allow up to 3 days to post redeem ‘missed coupons’. So, if you go back soon you could take those coupons you mentioned to Customer Service. They should refund the $2 for the coffee too.

There are also some Target mobile coupons for Market Pantry cheese if you’re able to post redeem those, too! Text SPRING to 827438 for $.75 off MP cheese 5oz+ (Exp 4/23). It says “excludes single serve snacking cheese” but pictures string cheese so I think it’s ok! Text THANKS to 827438 for $1/2 MP cheese with same restrictions (Exp 4/23). Text RECIPE to 827438 for another $1/2 MP cheese, also (Exp 4/20).

So for the $10/50 coupon, is the $50 total that you need before or after the 30% off and the Cartwheel % off? Thanks.

I used two of the $10/$50 Qs at my Target in north Mississippi yesterday in two separate transactions. I only had to reach the $50 before any discounts were applied. I got $100-worth of groceries for under $56, including tax.
Also, FYI, you can make granulated sugar into super-fine or powdered sugar by running it through your food processor. Which one you end up with depends on how many times you pulse it. I usually buy powdered sugar anyway, if I can find it at a good price, but it’s good to know you have an alternative in a pinch.

Went maybe 3 days ago and they were pretty well picked over, but they still had plenty of Coffee, vitamins, and some pet foods. Also, coke products. Best of luck everyone!

I was up at Spring Hill this morning so I stopped into the West Dundee Target. The entire store, with the exception of electronics/DVDs/music/books, is now 30% off. Lots of people were doing paper towel/bath tissue deals with the $10-off-$25 digital coupon. I picked up some clothes for my nieces, and there are quite a few Cartwheel ecoupons for children’s and toddler clothing to stack with these deals. I also bought some toys for my kids, a laundry basket, some socks – you know… random things you like to get cheaper when you can :)
