A Thanksgiving photo and a Black Friday photo

I hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving yesterday. I’m going to share two photos with you.

The first photo was taken by me. Here’s our tasty turkey about halfway through the grilling process. This is the third or fourth turkey I’ve made in the grill over the last couple years, and it’s my favorite way to cook a bird. Yum!

The second photo was taken by my husband sometime around 2:00am Black Friday morning. After entertaining 16 people for Thanksgiving dinner, cleaning up, and moving our patio furniture out of the living room (hey – all available chairs and tables were needed!) … I changed into pajamas, snuggled up with my bed pillow and sat down to finally, finally look at the Black Friday ads.

This is how far I got. I wasn’t even aware this photo was taken until he gleefully showed it to me over breakfast.

Seriously, this pose is like a real-life version of Picasso’s “The Dream,” except instead of dreaming about a lover, I was dreaming of sales.
