Tonight’s Super-Couponing Workshop in Vernon Hills CANCELLED

If you are planning to attend tonight’s Super-Couponing workshop at UCAN in Vernon Hills, Illinois, I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s class. I was in a car accident this afternoon on my way to pick my daughter up at school (we are all very shook up, but okay. My vehicle is not driveable.)

I will do my best to reschedule this class as soon as possible.

  9. Sorry to hear about your accident. This on top of the server problems on Mother’s Day. Sounds like you need a vacation!

  10. From personal experience, you’ll be feeling the effects of the accident is a day or two. (Hopefully you won’t have ANY ill effects!) Please take it easy and let people help you in any way you feel comfortable allowing them.

  12. I agree with MamaHan…the aftereffects of an accident are usually no fun, even though you are not injured. Take a break and get some rest. Glad everyone is okay.

  13. Terribly sorry to hear about your accident Jill, but Sooo glad that you and your family are all right! We will all survive for a bit if we don’t “hear” from you! As others have said, you might not feel it for a day or two. So, sit on the couch & RELAX!!!

  15. Jill – I’m so sorry to hear about your car accident. I was in one with my family in March and my car was totaled. It really shakes you up. If you are in need of a car dealer – we went to Brilliance Honda in Crystal Lake. We were able to get a great used car there. They were the nicest dealership we have ever been to – they really take care of you. Feel better! :-)

  16. so glad to hear you are ok. cars replaceable. really can mean a better vehicle. dh had his car totalled last year by someone hitting him and the insurance check got him a newer, nicer car. but, MOST OF ALL, take it easy. your body and mind both need time to reflect and recover. hugs and prayers.

    Is the Coupon-mobile in for repairs, or is it time to buy a new one? Can’t wait to see what kinds of deals you can do when new car shopping. Could it be the start of Super Couponing-III?

    BTW, I had a little run-in with a drunk driver a long time ago. Even thought they repaired the car, it just never felt right afterward. While I normally buy new, drive until they are trash, then throw them away and buy another new one, a year later I ended up trading it in. Probably would have been easier if the insurance company had just cashed me out up front. Except it took 2 months just to figure out if the jerk was actually covered by any insurance. I may have had less hassle if it had turned out that he wasn’t. If a car is so badly damaged that it’s not drivable, you may not want to keep it even if they repair it.
