I’ve only golfed once in my life, but I remember that it was expensive (even though my then-boss paid for everyone to golf that day.)   2. My kids & I have never played golf but my older son, who is autistic, is eager to try. He went to an outing awhile back with Boys & Girls Club and wasn’t allowed to play (then what was the point in going? – anyway, that’s another story LOL). But he was able to befriend someone who ended up giving him a set of golf clubs – how cool was that! Now he just needs to play. For a kid who’s more of a computer geek vs. an athlete, any chance to get him out is wonderful. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for my son Jason! Thanks for the chance as always Jill!

    FWIW, biggest reason I haven’t been golfing for years is that it’s just such an expensive hobby to keep up, but I would strongly suggest disc golf to anyone out there who wants a fun and relatively cheap family activity. Disc golf courses can be found all over the country and (except for a few rare “private” courses) are almost always free to play. Just have to buy a disc or three (at $10-20 each, depending on the quality of plastic) for each person playing, and you’re all set!

  89. This is an amazing deal! My husband wasn’t able to golf last year because of elbow surgery. He is now cleared to play again. Rounds of golf are expensive and our budget is tight. This would be great to win.

    I’m new to the site, but my friend sent me your link because of your recent golf deal! I played college golf as an undergrad, and i’m in loveeeee with the game. I just graduated from grad school, with LOADS of student debt of course, so my golfing has been limited lately due to funds and the all-consuming life of being a student. Now that i’ve graduated I have more time but still haven’t gotten to play…. because, yes, it IS an expensive hobby.
