You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing. Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Colgate. If I use it to buy more Colgate, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Colgate reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, the Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.

You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward -- all in the same transaction -- as long as they are different offers in the same ad.
