Walgreens Deals of the Week: 4/27/14 – 5/3/14

10.2-16.9oz. Pantene shampoo, conditioner and stylers are on sale 3-for-$10. Buy three and use the $5-off-3 from the 4/27 PG. Pay $5 for three, or about $1.66 each.

16-18oz. Old Spice body wash is on sale 2-for-$7. Buy two and use the $2-off-2 from the 3/30 PG (exp. 4/30!) Pay $5 for two, or $2.50 each. The 4/27 PG has a $1-off-2 too, but the March coupon is better.

Clairol Nice & Easy haircolor is on sale 2-for-$12. Use the $3-off-2 from the 4/27 PG and pay $9 for two, or $4.50 each.

6-roll Bounty paper towels are on sale for $4.99, and 6 double-roll packs of Charmin bath tissue are $3.99. The Bounty is your best deal here. Use the .25 coupon from the 3/30 PG (exp 4/30!) or a printable and pay $4.74. This works out to .79 per roll.

You could also buy one of each. Use the .75-off-2 from the 3/30 PG (exp. 4/30!). Pay $8.23 for both. This roughly works out to about $4.12 per package = about .69 per Bounty roll and about .69 per Charmin double roll (I believe that’s too high for the TP though.)

1.6-1.7oz. Secret Clinical and Gillette Clinical deodorants are both on sale for $7.99. Use the $2 coupon from the 4/27 PG and pay $5.99.

Almay cosmetics are Buy One Get One 50% off this week. There’s a $2 store coupon in the IVC book, and the 4/13 SS2 has a nice, high-value $4 coupon. However, the $4 coupon expires 4/27 (!) so if you want to put a deal together with these, definitely get to the store ON Sunday…

If you use Balance Rewards to pay for an item that generates more Balance Rewards to your Walgreens loyalty card, the second set of Balance Rewards will not accrue. Paying with points prevents more points from being loaded. Save your points and spend them on non-Balance Rewards items.

You will only receive one Register Reward per offer per transaction.
Example: A name-brand box of cereal generates a $1 Register Reward. Buying three identical boxes will not generate three $1 rewards.

You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing.
Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Colgate. If I use it to buy more Colgate, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Colgate reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, the Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.

You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward — all in the same transaction — as long as they are different offers in the same ad.
