If you use Balance Rewards to pay for an item that generates more Balance Rewards to your Walgreens loyalty card, the second set of Balance Rewards will not accrue. Paying with points prevents more points from being loaded. Save your points and spend them on non-Balance Rewards items.

Walgreens Register Rewards Deals

Notes on Register Rewards

You will only receive one Register Reward per offer per transaction. Example: A name-brand box of cereal generates a $1 Register Reward. Buying three identical boxes will not generate three $1 rewards.

You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing. Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Colgate. If I use it to buy more Colgate, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Colgate reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, the Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.

You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward -- all in the same transaction -- as long as they are different offers in the same ad.

I printed off last month the coupon.com buy 3 vitamin waters get $1 (limit 4 like coupons). They are only good at Walgreens. Vitamin waters are buy 3/$3 or $1.49 each. What is the best scenario in how to use these coupons?

I missed drinking these…gave up when I couldn’t get them at Dominicks for .50.

I was able to buy four and use two of the $1/2 internet coupons. The price was $1.00 each prior to applying the coupon. What was throwing me off was the buy 3/$3 cause there are sales at Wags that are two for $ but higher if you buy only one of the items. I wasn’t sure if the 4th bottle would still be $1.00. Will go back and buy 8 cause the limit is 4 of the same like/kind coupon in one transaction.
