Walgreens Balance Rewards Deals

Notes on Balance Rewards

If you use Balance Rewards to pay for an item that generates more Balance Rewards to your Walgreens loyalty card, the second set of Balance Rewards will not accrue. Paying with points prevents more points from being loaded. Save your points and spend them on non-Balance Rewards items.

5000 Points Booster 5/10-5/12

Spend $30 May 10-12 and get 5000 Balance Rewards points ($5) with the Points Booster coupon on the cover of this week's Walgreens ad.

$1 Excedrin

100-125ct. Excedrin extra strength, tension headache, migraine or mild headache are all on sale 2-for-$20. Buy two and get 10,000 Balance Rewards points ($10.) The 5/10 SS has a $2 coupon, and SavingStar has a $4-off-$18 offer for Excedrin and a $1 ecoupon too (if you don't have a second insert.)

With two $2 coupons, pay $16 and get 10,000 points ($10.) Get $4 back from SavingStar. Now you're down to $2 for TWO bottles of Excedrin, or $1 each!

$1.25 Juicy Fruit, $2 Orbit, Eclipse and Mentos gum cups

Juicy Fruit 40 pieces, Orbit 55 pieces, Eclipse 60 pieces, and Mentos 45-50 pieces are 2-for-$5. Buy two and get 1000 Balance Rewards points. This drops the price of all of them to $2. Juicy Fruit's the best buy though -- use two .75 coupons from the 3/29 RP2. Pay $3.50 and get 1000 points. That's $2.50 for two, or $1.25 each!

Walgreens Register Rewards Deals

Notes on Register Rewards

You will only receive one Register Reward per offer per transaction. Example: A name-brand box of cereal generates a $1 Register Reward. Buying three identical boxes will not generate three $1 rewards.

You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing. Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Colgate. If I use it to buy more Colgate, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Colgate reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, the Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.

You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward -- all in the same transaction -- as long as they are different offers in the same ad.

.49 Colgate mouthwash or toothpaste

Colgate Total Advanced 16.9oz. mouthwash, 2-pack toothbrushes, and 6-7.8oz. Total toothpastes are all on sale for $3.99. Buy one and get $2.50 in Register Rewards. For mouthwash or toothpaste, use the $1 coupon from the 5/3 SS2. Pay $2.99 and get $2.50 back, making it 49! IF the toothbrushes are 360 or Slim Soft (ad doesn't say) you can do the same deal with the toothbrush coupon in the same insert too.

$1.50 Windex and Scrubbing Bubbles

13.8-26oz. WIndex, Shout and Scrubbing Bubbles products are on sale 2-for-$7. Buy two and get $2 in Register Rewards, making them 2-for-$5. For Windex and Scrubbing Bubbles, use the $1 Ibotta offers, further dropping them to $1.50! SavingStar has a .50 coupon for Scrubbing Bubbles and a $5-off-$30 for these products too.

$1.75 Ziploc bags

Ziploc freezer and storage bags 14-24ct. and 90ct. sandwich bags are all on sale 2-for-$5.50. Buy two and get $1 in Register Rewards. Use the $1-off-2 from the 4/12 SS or a printable. The Tribune I bought at Crystal Lake Menards didn’t have Xtra Laundry coupon in it even though coupontomcom said it would be in it. Happens a lot lately
