My deals writeups reference “IVC” coupons. These are found in the monthly Instant Value Coupon books found at the front of the Walgreens store on the flyer racks.

You can also continue to load Coupons.com ecoupons to your Balance Rewards card too via Walgreens’ website, but you will only get one load (one use) per manufacturer ecoupon. Print them, and you’ll get two…

The 8/17 SS has a $3-off-2 coupon too (exp. 11/30!) and the 11/9 SS and 10/29 RP have $1 coupons. SavingStar has a Buy $25, Get $5 offer too. Want to do a stock-up deal?

Buy five ($29.95.) Use five $2 coupons. The IVC coupon will take $5 off. Pay $14.95 and get $5 back. That’s $9.95 for five, or $1.99 each!

 

Walgreens Balance Rewards Deals

Duracell is also part of the SavingStar $30/$10 offer. Let’s put a deal together…

Buy four ($35.96.) Use two $3-off-2 coupons. Pay $29.96 and get 6000 points ($6.) Submit to SavingStar for another $10 back. That’s $13.96 for four, or $3.49 each!

Walgreens Register Rewards Deals

You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing.
Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Colgate. If I use it to buy more Colgate, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Colgate reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, the Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.

You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward — all in the same transaction — as long as they are different offers in the same ad.

For Oral B, use two .50 coupons from the 11/30 PG or 10/26 PG (exp. 11/30!) Pay $7 and get $5 back. That’s $2 for two, or $1 each.

NOTE: I would submit these to Snap IMMEDIATELY after purchase. The last time they had a crazy deal like this, the available redemption offers ran out very quickly.

  1. A few notes:

    If you’re doing the Flintstones vitamins deal, the coupon in the IVC book is hiding in plain sight. It has a picture of One A Day vitamins on it, and the rest of the page is an ad for One A Day. In the small print, it mentions that it’s good on Flintstones too.

    The Kids’ Crest toothpaste deal works fine, but the $1 Crest coupons do not scan automatically on Kids’ Crest. Not sure why – Kids’ Crest is not excluded on the coupon, and they are the right size. Cashier put them through manually.

    And, my store had plenty of Vitamelts – that was a nice moneymaker :)

    Get 1000 Balance Rewards Points.

    Final: $0.06 each after coupons and points.


    I was able to use $20 x2 in Balance Rewards FINALLY last week during the Black Friday week deals at Walgreens.

    So I will start saving until the NEXT freebies come up totalling $20 or more.
