Walgreens Deals of the Week: 9/7/14 – 9/13/14

16-18ct. Playtex tampons are on sale for $4.99 or 2-for-$8. Buy two and use two $1 coupons from the 8/24 SS to drop these to $3 per box.

3.4-4oz. Sensodyne toothpaste is on sale for $4.99. Use the $1 coupon from the 9/7 RP2 and pay $3.99.

Tena Serenity pads are on sale for $11.99. Use the $5 coupon from the 9/7 SS2 and pay $6.99.

30ct. Claritin tablets, redi tabs, and 36ct. liqui-gels are on sale for $19.99. Use the $6 coupon from the 9/7 SS1 and pay $13.99.

Via Walgreens.com, you can now click to clip weekly ad coupons and load them to your Balance Rewards card at Walgreens.com.

You can also continue to load Coupons.com ecoupons to your Balance Rewards card too via Walgreens’ website, but you will only get one load (one use) per manufacturer ecoupon. Print them, and you’ll get two…

14oz. Ajax cleanser and 1.7oz. Nice toilet bowl drop-in automatic tablets are .50 each, limit 4, with store ad coupon

28-32oz. Gatorade is .69, limit 6, with store ad coupon. The same coupon states “Spend $6, Get 1000 Balance Rewards Points” ($1.) Not sure how you can spend $6 if the limit is 6 ($4.14) unless you’re supposed to buy more at full price..! We’ll call this one the “perplexing deal.”

5-6.5oz. Bumble Bee tuna and Snow’s chopped clams are .79 each, limit 3, with store ad coupon

Nice Reclosable Snack and Sandwich, 50 pk., Freezer or Storage, 15 to 25 pk., and Fold & Close Sandwich, 150 pk. bags are all .99, limit 3, with store ad coupon.

12-13oz. Sun-Maid raisins and prunes are $2, limit 2, with store ad coupon

Sunny Smile 8ct. paper towels and 16ct. bath tissue are both on sale for $3.99. Use the $1 coupon from the IVC book and pay $2.99.

If you use Balance Rewards to pay for an item that generates more Balance Rewards to your Walgreens loyalty card, the second set of Balance Rewards will not accrue. Paying with points prevents more points from being loaded. Save your points and spend them on non-Balance Rewards items.

The weekly ad has a points booster coupon for beauty and personal care items through 11/1/14. For every $1 you spend in these categories, you’ll get 50 Balance Rewards points.

1.7-7oz. Nivea for Men shave gel and skincare products are on sale 2-for-$7. Buy two and get $2 in Register Rewards. The 9/7 RP1 has a $2 coupon for face care and a $1 coupon for shave gel. 

With two $2 coupons, buy two skincare products and pay $3 and get $2 back. That’s $1 for two, or .50 each!

With two $1 coupons, buy two shave gels. Pay $5 and get $2 back. That’s $3 for two, or $1.50 each!

10.2-13oz. Garnier Fructis shampoo, conditioners and stylers are on sale for $3.99 each or 2-for-$6. Spend $15 or more and get 3000 Balance Rewards points ($3.) The 9/7 RP2 has a $2-off-2 coupon. Buy six ($18.) Use three $2-off-2 coupons. Pay $12 and get 3000 points ($3) back. That’s $9 for six, or $1.50 each!

You will only receive one Register Reward per offer per transaction.
Example: A name-brand box of cereal generates a $1 Register Reward. Buying three identical boxes will not generate three $1 rewards.

You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing.
Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Colgate. If I use it to buy more Colgate, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Colgate reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, the Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.

You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward — all in the same transaction — as long as they are different offers in the same ad.
