Calling all yogurt lovers! It’s giveaway time again here at JillCataldo.com, and this week, our giveaway involves a great cause too – Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

One reader will win a Yoplait “Save Lids to Save Lives” Prize Pack! It consists of:

– Two coupons, each for a FREE Yoplait yogurt cup
– Pink Yoplait tote bag
– Yoplait Hope journal and pen
– Heart-shaped key holder
– Yoplait pink lid collection kit

To enter, simply post a reply in the comments under this article! This giveaway begins today, September 15th, 2011, and runs for one week. The contest will end on September 21st at 11:59pm CST, and on September 22nd, one winner will be chosen via a random number generator!

  13. My aunt died from causes related to breast cancer about three years ago. It went into remission, but when it came back, it came back with a vengeance. It went into her bones and brain. Her last few weeks, she couldn’t even speak. This is an awful disease!

  14. My cousin was just diagnosed as Stage 2 and is undergoing chemo right now. I would love to be able to give this to her!!

  29. My mother died of this horrible disease in the early 60’s. So little was known then about fighting it. Now, one of my sisters just did the SBK 60mile walk and is a 2.5 year survivor. Needless to say, we wear a lot of pink in our family. Yoplait’s donation goes to such a worthy cause.

  41. I have been a supporter of the Susan G Koman foundation for many years. Two of my younger sisters are both survivors. Love Pink and Yoplait!

This is such an awesome and worthwhile cause, but ladies, don’t forget about your heart health as well- heart disease actually kills more women than cancer, so while you are remembering to schedule your mamograms, don’t forget to eat healthy, watch your blood pressure, cholesterol, and find out the signs of a heart attack in a woman (different from a man)!

  78. Just want people to know the Koman org doesn’t donate much towards research compared to the amount of money they bring in. They advertise A LOT and have very high administration fees. Only a very small portion goes towards research. The American Cancer Society donates .92 cents of every dollar donated to patient services and research. Koman is much, much less than that. If you donate to places, do your research. People are attracted to this cause because of the pink items and advertising. The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event puts more money thats donated to actually solving this horrible disease!

  94. Three years ago on the 14th of Feb my mom had surgery to get rid of her cancer. She has been free for almost 5 years. I hope they one day find a cure becasue I have lost too many family members to some form of cancer. All of my grandpas sisters and brothers had it and on the other side all my grandmas sisters have gotten it in their 80’s and have passed. One thing this does is no matter what age, color of skin it affects us all. Thanks for helping us fight!

  138. For my Mom,Shirley Hastings Rydeen,who died from breast cancer in 1988. There have been so many advances since then thanks to The Susan G. Komen for the cure!

  141. Great Job !! on all you do for in the fight against BREAST CANCER. I have had 3 near scares and I am fighting everyday, encouraging someone to get a Mammogram, do Breast self exams. We are a group of wives of LE and Fire/EMS that raise awareness for breast cancer and raise money to help find a cure. we have participated in many local and national events over the past 3 years!!   143. I LOVE that we can do this online now!!! What a great way to make it easier for all the people that did not want to wash & then mail them. Love that they track zip code & put some of the money back in your community. This is a cause I believe very strongly about. There are 3 generations of us eating our yogurt & participating in the pink lid campaign!

  151. This is so great!!!! A blog that is doing more than helping the community save money in this economy, but saving lives of breast cancer victims. I have been couponing for a long time, but never saw this type of commitment to women couponers and thinking about those that need help with more than everyday deals, but everyday lives.
