I’ve been gearing up to write this post for quite some time.
Who could have seen the pandemic, the supply chain interruptions, brands shifting away from paper coupons, and staggering inflation combining to completely change the couponing landscape as we knew it?
For more than 14 years, writing about couponing, blogging, and wearing the metaphorical crown of America’s Super-Couponing Queen was an enormous part of my life.
As all of these factors happened, one after another, it became more and more difficult to continue writing about couponing each week, because the field we collectively played on for so many years changed so much that I couldn’t, in good conscience, continue blogging deals like nothing had changed.
It did change.
I miss the way things used to be, as I’m sure you do too. It was a wonderful ride while it lasted.

I agree, the few coupons that are in the inserts are rarely for products I buy. It has really changed my shopping experience. I rely on the saving apps to bring the cost down.

You made it a good ride and it was great to get to know you through this site. I hope that, despite these changes and how they affected a key part of your livelihood, that all is well with you and your family.
ANy chance you might still check in from time to time, or is this the end?

Could you take up the water-saver (non) washer cause instead please! I managed to find a Speed Queen that actually fills with water and washes my laundry until it’s clean. I gave away my old, useless LG set less than a year old because I couldn’t in good conscience ask someone to pay for it. Tears of joy when I washed my first Speed Queen load.
