A note on overage and B1G1F sales

Jewel’s coupon policy allows shoppers to apply manufacturer coupon overage to other items in the same transaction. It also allows two manufacturer coupons to be used on a Buy One Get One Free sale.

Watch very closely with two coupons on a Buy One Get One Free. The second coupon may appear to scan fine, but it will show as $0.00 at the register. Be prepared to call on your cashier to manually adjust this for you immediately if they do not intervene.

If you anticipate any issues with this, I would recommend carrying a copy of Jewel’s coupon policy, which outlines both of these issues clearly.

The September Big Book has an ad noting that the former (delicious) Culinary Circle pizas will now be known as Signature Select. The former Essential Everyday pizzas are now Signature Kitchens. (This appears to be a merging/melding of the Safeway Signature brands...)

Took one for the team, bought three Creamette Elbow Pastas that were $1 each and it did not generate a Catalina. I needed these anyway for chili mac and used my Ice Mt. Cat from last week to pay for them.
