Crazy Christmas sweaters at the Cataldo house

Christmas Day is just around the corner, and I wanted to share the lovely sweaters my daughter and I made for the holiday. Both my son and daughter had “Crazy Christmas Sweater” day on their last day of school. Having none, we decided to make our own:

My son was very specific in his request for his sweater: “Four snowmen in KISS makeup.” I cut the snowmen out of felt, painted them & stitched them to the sweater. It turned out so well that I almost wished I made another one for myself!

My daughter transformed this wide-shouldered 80’s style Goodwill store find with ribbons, paint and felt too. I’m not sure what Stormtroopers have to do with Christmas, but this sweater was a huge hit with her friends — plus, she gets bonus points for wearing it to her job at the coffeehouse too.
