Welcome to our new Super-Couponers from Lisle, Johnsburg, Wauconda, Schaumburg, and of course the many listeners from Johnny B’s show as well…
If you’re new to the site, take a quick minute to read Using this site and bring yourself up to speed on all the coupon lingo and abbreviations. Unless otherwise noted, grocery store deals run through Wednesday of this week, and the pharmacy deals run through Saturday.
Starting off at Jewel this week, Wholly Salsa is on sale for $1! We just saw a sale on this before Super Bowl, but the price is even sweeter now… and what’s the best thing to use with a dollar sale? A dollar coupon! Print this $1 coupon and pick up some FREE salsa!
Still at Jewel, Hershey bars are on sale B1G1F. Use the B1G1F coupon from 11/9 SS and 1/25 SS and take home TWO for free!
And still at Jewel, Glucerna diabetic cereals are on sale for $3.99. Print a coupon for $5 off Glucerna and take this home for FREE! Note: If you’re not diabetic, this would be a wonderful item to donate to your local food pantry for someone who may be, as diabetic foods are typically quite expensive. And with a coupon that exceeds the value of the item you’re buying, you may gain some overage for yourself… AND help someone else too :) NOTE – many people are receiving the message that this coupon has reached its print limit.
Also still at Jewel, how about some cheap toothbrushes? Oral-B twin packs of toothbrushes are on sale for $2.50. Use the $2 coupon from 2/8 PG and pick these up for .50! That’s just .25 a toothbrush…
Jewel Freezer Matchups
If you bought a new freezer during Jewel’s February 2009 freezer deal, you received $150 worth of FREE frozen food coupons with your freezer. The best way to use these coupons? Hold onto them and match them to B1G1F sales in the store.
This week, the Baldwin ice cream and the Dean’s ice cream are on sale B1G1F. Use your coupons now and take home TWO for free through Saturday.
If you didn’t buy a freezer? Jewel’s freezer deal MAY still be going at your store if they still have stock. The deal is… buy a 5.2 cu. ft. chest freezer and get $150 in free frozen food coupons. This is the best, cheapest way to add a secondary freezer to your household… which makes it very easy to effectively stock up on meats and frozen items :)
NOTE: Yes, the ConAgra Catalina deal is running. But I’m hearing lots of hit-or-miss right now as to whether it’s working everywhere on everything. If you’re experienced at this (and a bit of a risk-taker) head over to the web forum and check out some scenarios people are putting together (Healthy Choice soup, Swiss Miss and Hunt’s tomatoes are good starters…)
Over at Walgreens, what’s better than a free “expensive” razor? Having the store pay you to take it home :) Gillette Fusion “Gamer” razors (yes, evidently we have a new razor just for gamers…) are on sale for $8.99. 2/8 PG had a $4 coupon for the razor. Use the coupon, pay $4.99… and get $6 in RRs! They’ll pay YOU $1 to take the razor home!
Still at Walgreens, Colgate toothpaste is on sale for .99. Use the .75 coupon from 2/1 SS and take it home for .24 a tube!
And still at Walgreens, Progresso soup is on sale for $1.25 a can with the coupon in Sunday’s Wags flier. Stack that with these $1.10 printable coupons for Progresso, and you’ll take this soup home for .15 a can!
Lastly, not a grocery deal, but it does involve free food! Ikea is offering free breakfast again Feb. 13-16 until 10:30am each day. That’s free breakfasts somewhere 2 weeks in a row!
Free Cascade Crystal Clear (register for free Home Made Simple coupon book, which contains this and other great coupons too!)
