Hello, Super-Couponers! Can you believe that this is the last week of March? We’re counting the days until my upcoming Super-Couponing 2 DVD filming on Saturday! I’m looking forward to seeing so many of you at the video shoot. If you’re currently registered for this event and cannot make it, please call the Elgin Library to let them know, as there is a very long waitlist for the taping.
It was fun to see so many Super-Couponers in Indiana this past weekend at the Home and Garden Expo too! Over 3500 people attended over both days, and truly… Northern Indiana’s about to have a FORCE of couponers hitting the stores! It was wonderful to meet so many people who are reading my column in The Times each Sunday as well. (I love being in the paper on Sundays when all of the coupons come..!)
And now, it’s time for Deals of the Week once again. I’ve got all the best supermarket and drugstore deals of the week written just for you… all in one place, on one page! As always, grab your scissors and coupon inserts, and get ready to start clipping this week, as bunches of bargains and freebies are heading your way!
This week’s newspaper contained three coupon inserts: TWO SmartSource (SS) and one RedPlum (RP.)
New blog readers: If you’re interested in learning to save on almost everything you buy at the grocery store, why not attend a Super-Couponing workshop? Many are FREE, and in one hour you’ll learn how to cut your grocery bill 50-70%! You can also learn with my Super-Couponing DVD workshop from anywhere in the country! Learn more!
A couple last notes before we jump into the Deals… Kmart is doing Super Double Coupons again this week, doubling up to .99 coupons. As there’s no such thing as a .99 manufacturer coupon (!) the best you could hope to do here is doubling some of your .75 coupons to $1.50. You’ll need a Shop Your Way card to participate in doubling. Kmart’s ad also notes that their Winter Apparel Clearance is currently at $2.99 throughout the store.
Now… ready for your Deals of the Week? You may enjoy bacon-wrapped filets for $1 each, .49 Hartz Crunch and Clean dog treats, .99 Pedigree Good Bites dog treats, $1.49 Xtra laundry detergent, .09 Stayfree pads, .16 McCormick spices, .79 Pebbles Treats bars, .49 Danimals and Dannon Light and Fit yogurts, .25 Clorox wipes, .24 Wish Bone salad dressing, a $5-off-$15 frozen food sale, .24 Heluva Dip, .99 Heinz Ketchup, .67 Ken’s salad dressing, FREE Clorox toilet bowl cleaner, .08 Tilex Fresh Shower Spray, .30 Dial pump soaps, .97 Bic Twin 10ct. razors, $1.49 Pop-Tarts, FREE Degree deodorant, FREE Vaseline lotion, FREE Colgate toothpaste, .49 Speed Stick, .45 Edge and Skintimate shaving gels, FREE Snickers Creme Eggs, .49 Mentos gum, $1.99 6-double-roll Charmin toilet paper, .50 Clean and Clear body wash, .12 Halls cough drops, bargain-priced Nature Made vitamins… so let’s get started!

Grocery Deals
Starting at Jewel… (View weekly ad)
One of our favorite sales is back! Chef’s Requested Bacon-Wrapped Beef Filets are on sale for $7.99, B1G1F. There are two 5oz. steaks in each pack.
Note that the printable coupons available for this deal are limit one per household. But, there are a few to choose from:
$1 off Chef’s Requested twin-pack bacon wrapped filets
$3 off Chef’s Requested twin-pack bacon wrapped filets
$1.50 off any 2 Chef’s Requested products
Deal scenario #1: With one $3 coupon and one $1 coupon, buy 2 packages (four steaks.) You’ll pay $3.99 for 4 steaks – that’s about $1 per filet!
Deal scenario #2: With one $1.50-off-2 coupon, buy 2 packages (four steaks.) You’ll pay $6.49 for 4 steaks – that’s about $1.62 per filet.
Longtime blog readers, check your printables too! We’ve seen this deal a few times over the past year. Last year, Chef’s Requested’s site had “Buy 3, get 1 Free” printables for these steak 2-packs (no longer available.) The printables had a notoriously long expiration date of December 2011. If you are still holding onto these, your best deal scenario is this:
Buy 4 packages (8 steaks.)
Use the $3 printable on your first pack (priced at $7.99)
Use the $1 printable on your second pack (priced at $0 with store’s B1G1F sale)
Use the Buy 3, Get 1 Free coupon on your third pack (priced at $7.99, but coupon will take entire price off)
The 4th package of steak has no coupon, but is also free with the store’s B1G1F sale.
With this scenario, you’ll pay $3.99 for 8 steaks – that’s about .50 per filet!
Every time this deal comes around, people either love or hate these steaks. We love. :) You really do have to make sure you don’t overcook them, but we have yet to have a bad one.I sautee them in a pan with a little garlic olive oil and they come out juicy and tender. (And yes, while these steaks are over our usual per-pound meat “benchmark” price, this is a very good price for a “nice” dinner at home. :)
My beautiful sister Lynn spotted a super deal on Hartz Crunch N’ Clean dog treats! They’re on clearance at numerous Jewel locations for $1.99 a box. There’s a $1.50 coupon in the 3/6 SS that will net you .49 dog treats! There are also a bunch of $1 coupons in past issues of All You magazine: February 2011, October 2010, August 2010, and May 2010! All of these will net you more treats at .99 a box. (And, if you don’t mind opening your boxes, we’ve found that many of our boxes have had additional $1 coupons inside!)
Time to stock up on dog treats! Look for boxes with a free chew toy inside too!
Another dog treat deal? (Woof!) Pedigree Good Bites dog treats are on sale for $2.99. Use the $2 coupon from the new 3/27 RP and pay .99!
Laundry detergent deal! Xtra Laundry Detergent (75oz., 48 load) is on sale for $1.99. Use the .50 coupon from 3/6 SS and pay $1.49 – that’s .03 per load!
We’ve had a lot of pasta sauce deals lately, but just in case you missed them (or need more!) … Prego pasta sauce (23-24oz.) is on sale for $1.50 a jar. Buy 3 and use the $1-off-3 coupon from 1/2 SS2 (expires 3/31!) You’ll pay $3.50 for 3 jars, or about $1.17 a jar.
Jewel is running a “Spend $20, get $5” Catalina deal on selected Johnson & Johnson products. I’m not seeing anything super-crazy here unless you’re a multiple-insert person. If you are, you could possibly do an all-Stayfree deal in this way:
Buy 11 packages of Stayfree pads ($21.89)
Use as many of these coupons as you have:
– Buy 1 Stayfree, Get 1 Free – 1/9 SS2 (expires 3/31!)
– $1 off – 3/27 RP
– $2 off 2 – printable
With 5 B1G1F coupons (taking $9.95 off) and 6 $1 coupons (or $2-off-2 coupons that take a dollar discount off each package,) you’ll pay $5.94 and get $5 back! That’s 11 packages of Stayfree for .94! About .09 per package!
There is a national Catalina deal running on McCormick herbs, spices, extracts, food coloring, black pepper, garlic and onion. Buy two and get a $1.50 Catalina; buy 3 or more and get a $2.50 Catalina (through 4/10.)
There is a $1 coupon in the 3/13. Prices vary, but I spotted some McCormick around the $1.99 price point at Jewel. If you have 3 coupons, buy three, pay $2.47 and get $2.50 back. .47 for 3 is about .16 each!
NOTE that NOT ALL McCormick items are included. Many readers have reported issues with some products not working, namely the carded recipe spices and the grill packets. Stick to the red-lid jars.
Reader Housemouse spotted a deal on Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles Treats bars! (They’re like Rice Krispie Treats, but of course made with Cocoa Krispies or Fruity Pebbles.) The treats are on sale for $1.79 a box. Use the $1 coupon from 3/13 SS and pay .79! If you like these, inside the cover of the box (at least for the Fruity, anyway) we found another .55 coupon.
The Pebbles bars are also part of the “Buy 10 or 15, get Labels for Education” if you’re going for that deal.
Here’s a deal on Kellogg’s Cereals. They are on sale for $2.99 a box (not the best price, especially since they were $2.50 last week!) However, if you buy 3, you’ll get a Catalina for a free gallon of milk on your next shopping trip, so that sweetens the deal somewhat.
Included cereals are:
Apple Jacks
Cocoa Krispies
Corn Flakes
Froot Loops
Frosted Flakes
Honey Smacks
Mini-Wheats
Pops
Raisin Bran
Rice Krispies
There are quite a few Kellogg’s coupons out for the deal…
– $1 off Frosted Flakes low sugar (if included) – printable
– $1 off Mini-Wheats with fruit (if included) – printable
– $1 off 2 Kellogg’s Corn Flakes – printable
– $1 off 2 Kellogg’s All Bran, Crispix or Corn Flakes cereals – printable
– $1 off 2 Kellogg’s cereals (ANY) – 3/6 RP
– $1 off 3 selected Kellogg’s cereals – printable
Here’s where the deal gets even more fun. Many readers are reporting finding “peelie” coupons on the cereal boxes for produce discounts — $1.00 off fresh fruit when you buy 2 boxes, or 1 pound of bananas free for buying cereal. Others have reported seeing tearpads for $1.50 off fresh fruit when you buy 2 boxes. Any of these will make an already-good deal even better!

“No Coupon Needed” Deals
9-count packs of Clorox Wipes are .25 each (through May 1!) It is currently cheaper to buy multiple small packs of Clorox Wipes like this than to buy a canister of them. (Really – the 35ct. canister is $2.50 this week, but buying 4 9-packs will give you 36 wipes for $1! If you’ve taken my Super-Couponing workshop, remember what I have said about those small sizes..!
Cans of Campbell’s Spaghetti-Os are .50 each. They’re also part of the “Buy 10 or 15, get Labels for Education” if you’re going for that deal.
Jewel 16oz. margarine quarters are .99.

- Bartlett pears are $1.49/lb.
- 1lb. bags of Farm Stand baby-cut carrots are $1.49 each (.99 each if you work them into the “Buy 10, Save $5”
(Anytime meat is under $1.99 a pound (no matter what it is — beef, pork, poultry) it’s a buy in my book, because $1.99 is a cycle low and a good benchmark for meat prices — ditto for most produce. Seafood, by its nature, is more expensive per pound, but a good “buy” benchmark is $4 per pound or less for fish or shrimp.)
Let’s go to Dominick’s (View weekly ad)…
Note to Safeway shoppers reading from outside Chicagoland: In Chicago, Dominick’s does not double coupons (as other Safeway stores do) – if your store doubles, you’ll do even better with many of these deals. Also, in Chicago, previously-available ecoupons (Cellfire, ShortCuts and PGEsaver) have been discontinued. Ecoupons are now available in the “Just For U / Coupon Center” section of electronic coupons available at Dominicks.com.
Dominick’s Super Coupons:
These are store coupons found in the weekly Dominick’s flyer, which (in the case of the name-brand products) means they can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for even bigger savings. You can also now load these Super Coupons to your Fresh Values card via Dominicks.com and not have to clip them. Best bets this week?

This sale has been running off and on throughout March, and it’s nice to see it back. (With back-to-back Indiana classes this weekend, I was not able to get to Dominick’s to price-gather on new deal ideas, so I am reposting a couple of matchups from previous sales. Please feel free to post any new scenarios that you come up with…) Buy $15 worth of ANY* FROZEN ITEMS, Save $5 Note that this is a COUPON instant-savings deal — you will need the $5-off-$15 frozen coupon from the current 3/24 Dominick’s ad. MEAL DEAL IDEA! If you have the Dominick’s $42 frozen food coupon book, take a look at the first coupon right inside the cover. It’s offering a $9.99 Meal Deal that includes: 1 Safeway Select Appetizer (8oz.) If you do this deal, you’re already very close to the $10 mark. Throw in just over $5 of ANY other frozen foods, use the $5 off $15 Frozen Food coupon and pay around $10. This is a good price for the deal, as the lasagnas alone usually sell for $7.99-$8.99. The lasagna also is going to give you the most ounces of food for your bucks. Wanchai Ferry frozen meal kits are $7.99 each. Buy two ($15.98.) Use two $1.50 Wanchai coupons from the 3/6 SS or printables (there are $1 coupons in the new $42 Dominick’s Frozen coupon book too) plus the $5 frozen coupon. Pay $7.98 for TWO meals, or $3.99 each – pretty good price for Wanchai. Safeway frozen juice concentrates are $1.69 each. Buy 9 ($15.21.) After $5 coupon, pay $10.21, or $1.13 each. El Monterrey Burritos are on sale for $1 each – good fillers if you find yourself at $14 and need something cheap. Are you a Meijer Mperks member yet? Mperks is a different set of electronic Meijer coupons. They’re attached to your cellphone number, but aside from one text message to activate your account, you do not need to use text messaging to continually use them. Once you register with Meijer Mperks, you log into the Mperks website and click the electronic coupons you’d like to load to your account. Then, when you’re at the checkout, type your cellphone number into the keypad at the register, and your coupons come off automatically.
Meijer meat deals:
- Fresh whole chickens are .85/lb.
- Pork shoulder bone-in country style ribs are $1.59/lb.
Meijer seafood deals:

Meijer produce deals:

- Green or white asparagus are $1.99/lb.

Note that Meijers in other states are on different schedules. The Illinois Meijers are about a week behind on the sales vs. most of Indiana/Michigan. If you’re in Illinois, these Meijer deals run through Wednesday. If you’re reading from another state, they ENDED Saturday at your store… Confusing? Yes.
AND, if you shop at the Illinois NILES or ORLAND Meijer locations, they haven’t been following the same sale flyer as the oter Illinois Meijers, under the convoluted reasoning that because the stores are newer, people will shop there -without- as many products being on sale. O-kay.

Wrapping things up with Walmart…
Policies to know:
- Walmart will price match any competitor’s advertised price. Bring the other store’s flyers with you to the store.
- With the new coupon policy, Walmart will also accept other store’s STORE coupons with an actual price listed on them. For example, a Dominick’s store coupon advertising “.99 Ragu Pasta Sauce” would be accepted. A Walgreens store coupon advertising “2/$1 Morton’s Salt” would be accepted. (A Target store coupon for “$2.50 off Huggies” would not, because it does not show the actual selling price of the item.)
- With the new coupon policy, Walmart will also accept competitor’s Catalina manufacturer coupons. You can get a Catalina for $1 off Snuggle and use it at Walmart.
- Walmart’s new coupon policy specifically addresses coupon overage. It says “Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase.” I have heard from one reader who used a $3 Register Reward on a $2.49 copy of All You magazine and DID receive change, in cash.
I would print a copy and carry a copy of the coupon policy with you if you anticipate any issues.
Will I blog Walmart in its entirety each week?
I will not be blogging entire writeups for Walmart each week. Every store location’s regular prices are different, and Walmart does not issue a weekly ad every week. I’ve listed Walmart at the end of each week’s Deals writeup, because if you see any deals above that you want, you’ll likely also be able to do them at Walmart.
However, if there IS an ad with noteworthy sales or I’m aware of great coupon matchups, you’ll find those here too:

As always, these deals are guidelines for shopping. I can make no guarantee that these items will be on sale, in stock, or available at your area store. I can also not guarantee your Catalinas will print, your cashier will smile at you while you check out, or that your shopping cart won’t have a broken wheel. But I CAN teach you how to save money :)
And, also, as always, a huge thanks to the many readers who posted and emailed deals that made it into today’s Deals of the Week! We’re all in this together, and I sincerely appreciate everyone who spots and passes along good deals that we can all enjoy :) Thank you… to YOU!
* (All You magazine is not a requirement for using the site, but if you like coupons, you will probably really enjoy it. It’s a cheap ($2.49 an issue) magazine that is absolutely filled with coupons each month — typically $50-$100 worth per issue! You can subscribe to All You online and save about $10/year off the cover price. And depending on the values, if you use 2 or 3 coupons alone from each issue, you’ve recouped the cost of the magazine, and you’re on your way to even bigger savings.)

First I want to thank you Jill and all the other ladies that have given me such a great education on how to help my family save money!
Olay Facial Cleanser is on sale at 20% off so it was $3.99 and Olay body wash for $4.99. In the March P&G, there is a buy one facial cleanser and get a body wash free (expires 3/31). Also there is a $2.00 off any Olay product in the 3/27 SS. So I got a facial cleanser and body wash for $1.99! I also recieved a $3 catalina from P&G for the purchase – the only thing is I am not sure what the value of the purchase has to be to get the catalina. When I bought 4 sets of items it printed out – but when I tried it with one set, no luck.
pam and family says
for the meal deal mentioned above: Actually, you are very close to the $15 mark (because prices aren’t adjusted to equal $9.99 until you give the meal deal coupon, so give that last.) I did this:
1 appetizer 2.99
1 lasagna 6.99
1 dessert 4.99
total = 14.97 prior to the meal deal adjustment (just a tiny bit short of the $15)
so, you can add any frozen food over 3 cents to get to the required $15.00. (maybe an individual ice cream cup?)
I just added a home run inn pizza with the super coupon for $3.99 since we like those.
Give the frozen food coupon first, then the 9.99 meal deal coupon, which will then adjust the prices of all the items in the meal deal.

This will work right? Palermo’s Pizza ($7.59) are B1Get1 this week. I have the jewel freezer deal coupon book plus $1 off printables. So I’ll get 3 pizzas, give (1) free coupon from the jewel freezer deal book and (2) $1 off coupons. 3 pizzas for $5.59.

What Walgreens did you go to? The cheapest Olay Facial Cleanser at my Walgreens was well over $5 (and most in the $7 -8 range), not the $3.99 you got, so the deal, while good, is not as great as yours.

I went this weekend, bought the 3 items and had the 9.99 coupon, but did not ring that way. Rang up as 14 dollars, I had to go to customer service to get refund.
this has happened 3 times in the past month and a half on the dominicks own coupons.

If anyone is interested in doing the Spend $15 on select Dove, Caress, Lever, Degree, Vaseline, and Axe products and get $5 at CVS, use the BOGO Axe Shower Gel coupon from this week’s ad, in addition to the other appropriate coupons found in this week’s ads…no digging needed. Oh, and check to see if you have any CVS coupons that you can double with the manufacture coupons.
This is the deal I got:
2 Axe body washes (BOGO coupon), Dove Deoderant (.75 coupon), Dove Visiblecare Body Wash ($2 CVS coupon & $1 coupon).
Total before coupons: $17.08
Total after coupons: $9.54 with $5 dollars back…it’s like getting all of it for $4.54 or $1.14 each!

Does anyone know if for the frozen food at Dom deal, the prices are calculated from reg prices or Just For You prices? For example, I have family lasagna on J4U for $5. If it goes from reg prices, I can buy 2 and use $5/$15 Q, and if it goes from J4U prices, I have to buy 3 to reach $15 and use the Q. Thanks!

Just had the Chef’s Requested fillets for dinner. You are right either you love them or you hate them. As far as I am concerned these were truly disgusting. Can you inject any more into your meat? I appreciate the post, but anytime a meat is pre-packaged like this, I will pass. My family had one bite each & proceeded to making sandwiches for dinner.

Buy 8 bags of Ore Ida hashbrowns, they are on sale for $1.99, bringing your total to $15.92 use 4 $1/2 Ore Ida Hashbrowns from the Dom’s Frozen Food Booklet and the $5/15 store coupon and they come out to about $7.20 with tax, or $0.90 a bag. I really good price if you use these a lot.

I can’t seem to find the Dannon Light and Fit Q posted in the Jewel deals of the week as:
“Dannon Light and Fit Yogurt 4-packs – $1.49
– $1 off – 1/30 SS (expires 3/30!)”
There is a $1 off when you purchase 10 6oz singels or ANY TWO Light and Fit 4 packs. Was there 2 SS’s on 1/30? Am I looking at the wrong Q? Help! I’d love to do this deal.
Thanks!

I realized that the Homestyle Creations listed in the Jewel Buy 10, Get $5 deal are now called Fresh Mixers (just like the Healthy Choice label). My avenu had $1/1 MC Fresh Mixer and I had some $1/2 printables that were for HC or MC.

The Pinesol/Clorox deal is at Meijer; double dips with the “Buy 7, save $5” deal.

Meijer has certain Smuckers flavors for 3/$5 this week. If you printed the $0.75 off of one smuckers from coupons.com, your OOP would be $0.92 each. Not bad for an 18oz. jar of Smuckers. I think the sale included Grape, Strawberry, Blackberry, Apricot and maybe Peach.

I just bought the Meal Deal at Dominicks (App, Lasagna, Dessert) for $9.99, Jill said that I still needed to throw in something for $5 more dollars to be able to use the $5 off $15 so I added a Wanchai Ferry Meal that she said were $5.99 and then I had a $1.50 off coupon. The Wanchai Ferry meal rang up as 7.99 and they said it was NOT on sale. Ho hum!

Does anyone know where I can get coupon/sale match ups for the Meijer in Highland, IN? The sale paper is different than the one for IL. Thankfully I checked the ad before sending my husband on a shopping trip tomorrow!
heatherdavey says
When Jill explained this scenario she said with all these things (app, lasagna, dessert) you would be close to your $10 mark (this would be after the $9.99 coupon) and you would need to throw in $5 more dollars of frozen food in order to use the $5 off of $15 coupon. Some others are saying you only need to throw in something worth pennies because before the sale price these things all add up to almost $15. Which is right? Now someone else is saying on The Dominicks Forum that you can buy some frozen meals that are 50% off and it works for the deal too. What does that mean?? I am so confused!

Yesterday visited Meijer in Plainfield and discovered they are running a really good instant coupon deal that you can use with the Catalina. Buy $15 of Dove/Suave/Axe products get $5 off instantly. If you buy $10 in Dove products you get a $3 Catalina. Prices vary but I purchased 4 trial size Dove body wash ($2.29 each) with $1 coupon each, 2 Axe body wash ($3.59 each) BIGI free coupon, and Dove Mens Body wash $(3.79) plus $1 coupon
$20.13 total
$15.13 after instant coupon
$6.54 after coupons
$3.54 after Catalina
= 50 cents each!
The Dove deal runs through 4/13, instant coupon not sure :-(

i went to the oak forest wags today to among other things pick up some of the snickers eggs for $.29. so i went to the check out and the very nice lady said that the coupons are not included. she had questioned it on another customer’s order and the manager said they weren’t included. so i said never mind and went home cause my eyes are bad and i cant read the fine print. so my daugher read the fine print and of course it’s right there that the single eggs are included. i called the store back and the lady that answered said she would check out her coupons and verify it. so, if you happen to be denied on the coupons just make sure there is an employee there that is able to actually read the coupon and not assume that it’s not eligible.

I went to two Jewel’s in Chicago and neither one had the Pedigree Good Bites for $2.99. They were $3.99. Is there a certain place where it says that these are on sale?

Dominick’s just frustrates me. I was told today that I can’t use the Wishbone salad dressing Q because I am using the Super Q (loaded to my card). They also wouldn’t take the Ore Ida Q because they had taken $5 off for $15.00 of frozen foods. Both of these beeped.
I was also told that the meat lasagne didn’t qualify because it was “meat”. I pointed out the lasagne pictured on the $5/$15 Q.
The policy makes it seem like she was right about stacking with the Super Q.
Coupon Stacking:
21. Dominick’s does not allow a customer to redeem two or more manufacturer coupons against the same item in a single transaction.
22. Coupon stacking policies for manufacturer coupons apply to paper and electronic coupons that have been loaded to a Fresh Value Card.
23. If a customer presents two coupons for the same item in a single transaction, Dominick’s will give the highest discount for that item, subject to the terms of the applicable offer and/or coupon.

Does anyone know if CVS had changed their coupon policy. I was at the CVS in North Aurora today and was denied being able to use more than one of my internet coupons for the M&M easter eggs. The manager said that they can only take one coupon with the same barcode number on it. That they don’t get reimbursed for more than one. I tried to explain that the internet sites allow you to print two and that is exactly what I did. He then accused me of basically illegally printing internet coupons. I was furious! Well I came home and started looking at other coupons that I printed on the internet and if I printed two (which I thought was legal) they both have the same bar code number on them. Can anyone shed any light on this? Jill? In the meantime, I’m calling CVS customer service. Thanks.

I am so aggravated at Tribune! I cannot do some of the Wags deals this week because my 3/27SS1 (in both of my papers!) was incomplete. I literally have the front and back pages and that is it. AND, my 3/20SS insert (from one of my two papers) was incomplete as well. I have received so many incomplete inserts, as well as no inserts at all, since January. I have called Tribune 3 times over this, and they say they can’t do anything because an outside company is in charge of compiling the inserts. I don’t even get a credit on my account! I know Mashup Mom wrote an editorial on this problem. Has anyone else figured out a solution to this???

I’m new to couponing. Can’t I combine my $2.00 olay facial cleanser and buy 1 play facial cleanser get an okay body wash free? I think cvs would have done it, but they didn’t have a body wash for 4.99 or less. Which order should I hand over my coupons? Or is this not allowed? 3 other stores said no.

I was wondering if anyone or Jill knows of the new problem at Meijer regarding cats? I double dipped with Meijers buy 7 get $5 off instantly and the purchase $15 worth of Clorox or Glad productsget $5 cat only to find out that the cat didn’t print. I was told by the CS person that the cats are no longer printing if coupons were used. I only had the products on the receipt and the total was more than $15 prior to tax. The CS person said that it is something new that was happening with the cats and that they had been having problems for a couple months now.
He was kind enough to re-ring the whole order again without Q’s and then gave me the cat and did a return, etc. No additional money or anything changed hands on my part, all handled at a register for me.

The CVS ad for Mar 27-Apr 2 advertised $7 extra bucks when you buy any Physicians Formula Cosmetics (excludes clearance). I scanned my ExtraCare card when I entered the store as usual and was shocked to have it spit out a $7 off coupon for Physician’s Formula Cosmetics! I got a $12.49 bottle of Mineral Wear Foundation for free and made $1.51! Score!

Jill – I have a stupid question. Since I provide my email address when getting printable coupons, I am getting tons of emails with more coupons. Do I need to print these or am I safe just waiting for you to point out more printables on deals. I’d rather not go through all that effort if I can just rely on this blog. Thanks.
